Four of us went on a weekday mid-afternoon. Place was about full even at that hour. We had the steak with grilled onions & brown gravy over it and the fries; ham served the same, and a chicken fried steak with white gravy. All was very good. Service was really good, even though it was quite busy. My out-of-town family... More

Found ourselves in Bartlesville & decided to give Murphy's a try based on the reviews. WOW the hot hamburger was awesome! Service was fast & friendly. Place was already very busy at 11am. The building and decor is original (old!) but the food makes up for it. The lemon meringue pie didn't taste homemade but it was still tasty. We'll... More

Murphy's hot hamburger at its best! Homemade french fries too! Top it off with a piece of lemon or chocolate pie!

Wow, the hot hamburger with gravy over all is not to be missed. Your heart doctor would not approve but it sure is tasty. I am thinking that 2 times a year is about all you can handle unless you are on lipitor. Bring a bib

The food is above average, especially if you are into Texas toast covered with lean ground beef, incredible brown gravy over the beef and fries (hot hamburger) the house garlic dressing is also very good. The pies are substandard with a mealy crust and a "premade" taste. The staff all wish they were elsewhere and it is obvious. All the... More

We've eaten here twice this year. We used to go all the time. The hot hamburgers that they are famous for isn't so good. They gravy is really strong and thick. The mashed potatoes are lumpy and too starchy. The food is so greasy that we get a stomach ache. The garlic dressing is still good though. The building and... More

This is one of the BEST places to visit if you're ever in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The place is small when you drive up to the building, but don't let the looks fool you....Its worth the time to check out this Bartlesville establishment.

You won't find a hot hamburger with cheese and gravy over all like this anywhere else. It is very filling and not the healthiest thing to eat but it does taste wonderful.

The chicken fried steak, real mashed potatoes and gravy could definitely be called comfort food. We splurged and had the lemon meringue and coconut meringue pies. Slices of heaven. It was quite aways off the main drag but well worth the drive.
