here we feature trout dredged in cornmeal & sautéed crispy, drizzled w/ lemon cream & a sprinkling of fresh dill. served w/ home fries, scrambled eggs & fresh fruit.
southwestern chorizo quesadilla
a classic quesadilla is filled w/ our signature homemade chorizo sausage, spiced black beans, shredded cheddar, & a drizzle of our jalapeño sauce. served w/ avocado orange salsa, sour cream & scrambled eggs.
winds eggs benedict
eggs benedict w/ a twist! we serve two poached eggs over our crispy hash that's full of local potatoes & pumpkin, & a dash of our house made worcestershire sauce, all on a house made English muffin. drizzled w/ pumpkin hollandaise spiked w/ lime & served w/ fresh fruit.
autumn croque monsieur sandwich
this famous open face sandwich is made w/ a thick slice of sourdough bread, béchamel, comté, fried sage leaves & black pepper. topped w/ nueske’s smoked ham, cognac mushrooms & roasted tomato, or leave out the ham for a delightful vegetarian sandwich. a little bit of France right here in ohio. served w/ cornichons & herbed fries.

don’t you love the field of sunflowers on 68 just north of town driving by always makes me think of van gogh, which led me to try these creamy, lavender-colored beans from heirloom bean & legume producer, zursun. stewed slowly w/ white wine, garlic, dark leafy cooking greens & the famous French herb mixture known as herbes de provence, the rustic beans are served w/ hot rice, a dollop of whipped goat cheese & a spoonful of our house-made tapenade.

grilled flat iron steak w/ oyster mushrooms
this beautiful steak is dusted w/ powdered forest ?mushrooms & grilled medium rare, sauced w/ oyster mushroom ragout & drizzled w/ red wine reduction. served w/ spanish fries.
winds moroccan spiced lamb burger
la frieda ground lamb is seasoned w/ chopped shallots, smoked paprika & parsley, & garnished w/ harissa mayo, lentil tabouleh & house-pickled carrots. ?served w/ herbed fries.
blt omelette
nueske’s applewood smoked bacon is paired w/ the end of the season local tomatoes & a handful of fresh herbs. though not technically lettuce,? spinach is mixed into the egg.
fried egg sandwich w/ cheddar & bacon
our terrific organic eggs are shown off when fried until the yolk is firm then put together on a toasted brioche bun w/ nueske’s bacon, sharp white cheddar, lettuce & our own house mustard & mayonnaise. choose home fries or dressed greens.
buttermilk pancakes
four fresh flapjacks served w/ pure maple syrup.

balsamic vinaigrette, sesame miso, traditional red wine vinaigrette
