What more can I say the food is great with a wide selection on the buffet or the regular menu. They also have a piano player on the weekend. Great service at friendly people.

We always enjoy dining in Amish country Ohio. This time we went a little further north to try the Amish Door. There was only chicken and boiled ham along with mashed potatoes and a couple of other hot sides available and the chicken was just ok. If you are wanting to eat at an Amish buffet, this isn't one of... More

Right from the booking to us leaving this restaurant we were treated like royalty. They had a welcome sign outside with our group name on it. I chose the menu for this family style dinner and wow did we really need 3 meats of course it was great. Did I mention the pie OMG it was super. Not one of... More

Wilmot isn't exactly in the center of Amish country. Unless you're coming from the north or staying at the Inn, you'll probably be going out of your way to get here. We were coming from Walnut Creek and the drive was maybe 20 minutes. We arrived around 8am on a Saturday morning. It was not busy at all. Most of... More

This is one of our favorite places to eat when we are visiting Amish Country or just have a taste for the food.

Our group ate at the Amish Door Restaurant. They have a great buffet. It has a wide selection of food or you can order off the menu. They had a special combining both. All of our group enjoyed the food and service.

The menu items included salads, chicken, sandwiches, etc. my husband chose the buffet which included salad bar, boasted chicken, meatballs, potatoes, pudding, etc. for $14.99. I got 2 pieces of chicken with mashed potatoes and a salad which was very good. He liked the buffet very much.

We arrived at about 2pm- and they still had the Lunch buffet going. But, there was no mashed potatos or dressing on the buffet. So we just got individual meals. Then of course, I had to go into the bakery for deserts to bring home! Food is ALWAYS good! If you are passing through, you really need to stop by!

This restaurant is excellent. They have a buffet that is worth eating at. The Amish Door Restaurant is about an hour from where we live. We visit this restaurant at least every 2 months. The food is good, atmosphere is nice. You might have to wait 10 minutes to get a table but it is worth it.

This is definitely not the place to invoke healthy eating, but if you wanted to try, you could probably succeed here. There are many vegetables and salad fixings to choose from on the salad bar, and some of the roasted meats (I had the turkey - it was delish) without gravy would also be good choices. However, the graham cracker... More
