We always eat at The Amish Door everytime we are in the Amish Country. We have NEVER had a bad meal! We recently had a 2 days visit and the first day, we ate at a different place. It came highly recommended so we expected an excellent meal. We were somewhat disappointed. But at Amish Door.... We have never been... More

Very busy at dinner time. When seated waitress served drinks quickly. Food order taken after drinks. Salad bar was well stocked with a wide variety of fresh veggies, slaw, potato salad and even desserts. Our meal was very good and plates were loaded. Meats consist of chicken beef, pork, and ham on a sampler platter. We have eaten here before... More

If you like buffet style or menu style, Amish Door offers both. We usually do the buffet...chicken, ham, home made noodles, plenty of vegis....good selection and delicious food. Service is top notch, especially since it's alway busy.

The food was good. The lettuce in the salad bar was rusty, but there was a good selection. Service was friendly and quick. They had odd things on their menu that we didn't try.

I don't know how often they have buffet time- it was on a board with chalk for today. You can order from the menu, too. The buffet was chicken with some ham. I am pork/beef guy, but this chicken was good. The fried one. Many good salads, too. There is no mach information on the labels, but I found out that... More

Service was very good, friendly and prompt. I was hungry for the Fried Cod Fish... ( I know, don't order fish in Chicken country ) The fish was nice and thickish , but, over fried.. one small piece... Also, the apple dumpling was mostly all crust , some apples on the very bottom of the mountainous outter crust . I... More

The buffet gives a wide variety to choose from - or if your not that hungry or not one to try different things you can order from a menu - either is great and you will not be disappointed

This is our second time at this restaurant. The restaurant had a nice selection of food, the service was good. The place as clean. Overall, a good value.

This was our third visit to Amish Door. My husband loves the Amish Door Casserole: turkey, stuffing, noodles, mashed potatoes and gravy, layered in a bowl. Carb lovers delight. I almost always get a pot roast dish. I'm sure it's a busy place. We tend to go during the week to avoid the crowds.
