This little jewel is hidden in a strip mall in Willoughby, OH. The waiter is a fun gentleman with (I believe) a German accent and his wife is the cook. I had the Weiner Schnitzel which was scrumptious and my dining companion had the stuffed peppers with a very interesting and tasty sauce. I thought the prices quite reasonable for... More

Live close by and tired of the chains so why not try a place we drive by frequently. What a great place. Johan was friendly, helpful and attentive but not overly so. All three of us loved our meals - Wiener schnitzel, chicken paprikos and wall-eye. Decent portions, homemade, yummy goodness. Dessert was just as wonderful - dobos torte, baklava, and... More

We spent the night in Willoughby and were looking for a "non-chain" breakfast place. Our hotel suggested Cafe Europa; I'm so glad they did. We were warmly greeted upon entering and felt more like we eating at a friend's home rather than at a restaurant. Both our breakfasts were fantastic! We were even given some pastry treats to take with... More

The place was quinte and felt like a small europen restaurant. Paul the owner makes you welcomed. His wife's bakery is definately yummy and all homemade. The food more Eastern Europen and a good beer from Germany. What can I say delish.

We stopped randomly at this Cafe Europa as we were travelling through Ohio. The owner was a fantastic host, he suggested dishes for us and brought us complimentary soup. The food was delicious, homestyle eastern european dishes---we had the chicken paprishka, cabbage rolls, stuffed peppers and goulash. I wish this cafe were in Boston!

Excellent food and owners are so gracious and wonderful. I highly recommend this cafe over Bob Evan's and Cracker Barrel in Willoughby. Just don't except chain food/all day breakfast - it is much better. Coffee is the best that I have ever had. Food is homemade. The homemade bread is amazing. Food is authentic and prices are very reasonable!

I came here with my mom for the first time on a Friday Evening. It was a small little place but had a beautiful front porch with tables and flowers and a little fence which had been set up. The owner, Johan, greeted us right away with hugs and showed us around the place, explaining how authentic and healthy his... More

We stopped here while apartment hunting with our daughter. What a gem of a place! The owner was super friendly and the food was totally homemade. The cheese strudel looked liked what my mom used to make. My husband had the chicken noodle soup and he said that it was the best ever. We will definitely go back. Thank you!

We were driving across the country looking for a healthier option and found this adorable little restaurant off of highway 90. The owner is a delightful man who treated us to gelato and cookies with our coffee. The food was actually amazing. It's all fresh, homemade but perfect portion sizes, and so delicious! This man knows his cooking and his... More

We stopped off today for an early dinner and I am so glad we did. Not only was the food wonderful, but the service was fantastic! They really know how to make the customer feel welcome and appreciated.
