Food always excellent. Very large portions. Good service. best restaurant in the area. Extensive enough menu serving anything from sandwiches to full dinners. Their Ruben is especially good.

Having never been to Whitehouse or the Whitehouse Inn I looked at their online presence (as well as reviews in the Toledo weekly paper) and thought it would be a nice place to take my wife for her birthday. It appeared to be somewhat of...a family themed restaurant from reviewing the menu, but still seemed to be quaint small town Inn probably good for a special occasion. It ain't. The online pictures are very deceiving as it is in the middle of town next to a ball field and a variety of downtown places. Taken as a whole it looks like a run down shack. The place is clearly quite popular as it was crammed to the gills in every possible corner with people. It appears that at some point in the past they ditched the "Quaint Whitehouse Inn" feel and took on a presidential theme play on the town name. All throughout are pictures of Presidents and a big picture of the White House is painted on some windows. Unnecessarily corny. But it works for them. The cocktails were stiff, which I appreciated. Service was good, so they have that going for them, which is nice. But the food was just m'eh and expensive. I asked for a medium rare prime rib and it was medium well. Not even close to being correct. Since it was my wife's birthday and they were busy I didn't bother to ask them to redo it. But paying over $60 for that and it not being close to correct is not getting it done. If you live in Whitehouse I am sure it is fine, but not worth traveling to experience.More

This was our first visit here and it will not be our last. Ambiance is very unique with pictures of presidents lining the walls. Bathrooms are clean and labeled for first ladies and presidents to keep with the theme. Reuben and fish platter were excellent...as were fries. Food was served hot and quickly. Staff was very attentive. Parking in lot is limited but street parking is available. Highly recommend this restaurant!More

Always have enjoyed your meals/drinks and always look forward to going to your restaurant. We were there with another couple on NYE. I realize you were very busy but (and there is always a but) we hardly had our meal done and the waitress came...up to us and said they needed our table. Actually, my boyfriend, was still eating his potatoes even though the other 3 in my party were done eating. We were going to relax a little and have another drink but that didn’t happen. We were all kind of perturbed especially after paying over $80 for myself and my boyfriend. Plus, we spent another $10 at bar waiting on our table. You would think that after spending that kind of money we could have enjoyed our visit a little longer. I will continue to frequent your restaurant as I really do like it but just had to let you know our experience. Patsy YontzMore

Husband and I shared a late lunch of a delicious Reuben and Outstanding Fries. The Margaritas are soooo good and the House Wines were priced reasonably at $5. Outside seating is always our first choice and it was very pleasant. Rachael did a superb job...taking care of us. I wish we lived a little closer because we would visit much more often.More

For a $22.95 Easter Sunday brunch, I would have expected more quality than anything else. Instead, it was basic cafeteria style food with very little taste, and terrible service. The place was overcrowded and made for an overall horrible experience. I would pass on ever...coming back to this place again.More

We've been Whitehouse customers for many years. Recently though, we have decided to write them off due to covid concerns. We went for lunch at ate in the bar area. The bar had customers in every seat. No social distancing. Our bartender/server had a mask...on but later took it off. When I asked her about it she said she was too warm. (Thanks for disrespecting us by doing this.) Another server behind the bar never wears a mask. This is the second time we've seen her there with no mask. Customers came in and sat themselves with no masks on. A kitchen employee came in the dining room several times and chatted with others and didn't have a mask on. By the time we left I looked around the dining room and saw that none of the staff were wearing masks. When I called the owner the next day he said that he can't police everyone all the time. Hmm, aren't business owners supposed to be responsible for what goes on? We have tried to patronize local restaurants as much as we can during the pandemic but they need to do their part to keep us all safe. Help us help you by following the CDC guidelines.More

We had a wonderful meal here with all the staff wearing mask. This place has something for everyone s taste. Whitehouse Inn offers great steaks, prime rib, seafood, comfort food (sandwiches, burgers, panini s, soups etc} at reasonable prices. Most of our party had the...prime rib which came out as ordered and very tasty. With the meal you also receive a large salad or soup, two or three side items and some very good rolls. Waitress kept out drinks filled during our meal as well as cleaning off unused dishes. Will consider coming here again when in the area.More

Normally you can judge a business by how they keep up their exterior, especially with any restaurant. I understand the log cabin look but rotting structure isn’t pleasant to look at.

Very clean, historical presidential info decor, beautiful paintings and lovely covered patio area. The staff are friendly, knowledgable and outgoing. Mixed drinks were on point and bartender was friendly. Nice selection of appitizers. Our steaks were served hot off the grill and cooked exactly as...we asked, seasoned to perfection. The sweet potato side was huge and delish. Key Lime Pie dessert was devine. Easy parking, with handicap access. Locally owned. We would definately go back again.More
