I had the fried fish, fried potatoes, mac & cheese, plantains, and collard greens...it was all incredible! The food was so flavorful and it tastes homemade.

We love to eat out, and get very excited when we find a restaurant that serves unique, quality food at an affordable price. Divine Appetite Cafe certainly suited our taste buds. The food was fresh and the service friendly. We tried 2 different African specialties and they were delicious. I was able to find several great options that could accommodate my grain-free, dairy-free diet. We would highly recommend. The place is a little difficult to spot (on Rt. 42 in West Chester), so keep your eyes peeled... you don't want too miss a great meal!

This place is awesome owners are very nice and some of the best soul food I ever had. Plus they have African food. Easy on television pocketbook.

Loved this place until the last time I went. Wanted no pink in the Hamburger......It was pink/red and cold.....so were the fries.

Cincinnati has a serious lack of quality soul food, but I'm happy to say that the void is about to be filled. I attended the grand opening today of the Divine Appetite Cafe and I cannot wait to return. Today's menu was a $10 tasting that let you sample all of the goods. My personal faves were the greens cooked in smoked turkey, chicken wings and the delectable peach cobbler for dessert.
Everything here is fresh and made from scratch, even the salad dressings and the balsamic will have you wanting to take a quart home.
The restaurant is a little small so as it gets more popular there may be a wait, but it's worth it. The chef also told me they're planning a delivery service, so I can't wait for the next time I'm on tap for Sunday dinner. You owe it to yourself to check this place out!!
