After visiting some of the shops in Waynesville, decided on the Cobblestone Cafe for lunch. Wonderful menu selections. Had a hard time deciding what to order. Settled on the turkey and apple sandwich on raisin-cinnamon bread and I wasn't disappointed. My friend had the chicken salad, which she enjoyed. After we finished, we were brought complimentary mini chai tea topped... More

It is so refreshing to dine in a restaurant that obviously takes pride in the food they serve. We live about 30-45 minutes from Waynesville, but don't go as often as we should. Our lunch today of crab cakes and seafood pot pie was excellent, probably because the food is prepared in-house using fresh, healthy ingredients. When I praised the... More

I took my granddaughter to lunch while on a shopping trip for her 16th birthday in Waynesville. She had the soup/sandwich combo and I got the salad/sandwich combo. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was charming and comfortable. We also had dessert and it was very good! Not too pricey--about the same range as Panera... More

I have been to the cobblestone Village Café on at least 25 occasions. It is a charming restaurant with a cute shop attached to it. Brenda and Rick have been the owners for 17 years and they offer a wonderful setting and great menu choices. I've never had anything but a great lunch here! The asparagus sandwich is amazing, but... Nice place in the middle of town. On the upper scale compared to other dining places in town, but worth it.

We were visiting the Fabric Shack and went to the Cobblestone Cafe for lunch. As it was a week day the restaurant was not crowded and the service was very good. The menu has plenty of fresh/vegetarian fare and wonderful homemade desserts. For the carnivore they had a Guinness burger that was really quite good. My wife had the orange... More

Nice place for a quick sit down with friends while going through the antique shops. Food is premade but fairly decent

Thanks for dining at our cafe. Just to clarify, each order is prepared in house by our team of chefs. We are also very proud that we raise many of our own organic ingredients and buy from local organic farmers when in season. Hope you'll stop in again soon! More

Decent but probably not a place I would return too. Atmosphere definitely doesn't fit the local. Somewhat pricey, service average at best.
