It was a nice visit and Sarah was very helpful and polite. Was there for lunch and she was very itentive and nice. She just didn't sit things down and run away and asked if we were ok and if we needed anything.

Food is great, service marginal, way to crowded or squeezed in between the seating tables and booths. We were seated right where they come in and out of the kitchen and it was awful.

Had dinner there on a busy Sunday night. Waitstaff attentive and pleasant. Sat in a booth next to window. Window area didn't appear to have been cleaned for a long time. Food mediocre.
Ordered a 10 oz ranchers sirloin steak, half of steak was full of gristle. 1/2 chicken was very dry and burnt. French fries were cold and rubbery. No seasoning on chicken or fries. No rolls.

They have changed their menu some. We ordered onion rings and there might of been 10 all together. They used to have onion blossom and at least you got your moneys worth. The steaks were good, as was the chicken dinner I had.
The food at Dakota's is good--not particularly outstanding--but quite good. They're accommodating for those with gluten intolerance, but be warned that the whole experience will take a while. I wouldn't suggest eating here in a hurry.
