We have been to Menches many times as a family . Located close to the Akron Canton airport, it's a great place to stop with out of town guests.

I planned this stop a few months ago and they sure didn't disappoint us. The atmosphere was really nice and they served 57 burgers very fast. Ice cream followed but the best part was the grandson of the original owner told us the whole story about the invention of the hamburger ,ice cream cone and cracker jacks

There's a sign out front that says they invented the hamburger. I don't know if that's true but they do a good job making them. Fifty burgers on the menu make it hard to choose but I settled on the perogi burger with bacon, cheese and mashed potatoes. Very tasty.

Burger Lovers will go wild for the 50 different type burgers on the menu. Sports bar/restaurant with strategically placed TVs. Expect to pay $9-12 for your burger. Good service. Pretzel buns are really tasty!

We made a quick stop at Menches Brothers Restaurant & Pub for a late lunch, and were pleasantly surprised. The menu has some 50 hamburgers (or so they say ... at least one is turkey, one is a bean burger, and one a patty melt). We started with the fried pickles, one of my wife's new found favorite appetizers. While... More

In our last night in the area, we visited this restaurant. They seated a large group of senior softball players and were very quick in getting our meals served to us. Try there margaritas. Very good

The place to go for burgers. I've never tried anything else on the menu - after all, this is the birthplace of the hamburger! Fun place and good burgers.

I have been to Menches before and have had their burgers which are very good. We decided to take our mothers there for their Mother's Day Buffet. It was pricey, $17.00, and was horrible. The chicken was dry, meatballs were like rubber, awful cheesy potatoes, the chocolate cake tasted like chocolate cardboard, very dry and the cookies were hard. It... More

Service was not bad, but all food taste canned like the minestrone(?) soup. Also, was hard to understand what kind of beer they have (besides those very basic and well known.) Questions like "what type of beer is it? or how bitter is it? was not answered; but the lady denied knowledge with a nice smile. So, the place is... More

We frequent Menches for a cold beer and a burger every couple weeks - excellent burgers, although everything we've had here has been good, including breakfast. Good little bar area with plenty of good stuff in bottles and on tap. Appetizers after 8 pm (weekdays I think) are half priced. My only criticism, if any, is that the employees are... More
