If you are looking for a pint or food, you can't go wrong with Mavis Winkles. I was craving a pint of Guinness beer and headed - or ran - to get my fix. While I was here had the fish and chips dinner. It was the perfect combo for a dinner and drink. Already planning a return trip.

I started going to Mavis Winkle's 10 years ago. It has been around awhile and we never get tired of it. Potato pancakes are a favorite instead of bread for a corned beef sandwich. They have a lot of favorites from the Irish side, but enough "regular" food for kids to eat there, too. The owners are a husband and... More

This is a long standing and great local hangout in Twinsburg. They have most sporting events playing in the High Top area and a nice fire place in the table area. On most weekend nights they have live music, (not too loud,) and quite fun. The food is Irish themed and delicious.

My friend and I decided to try a close restaurant and since I love writing about local establishments in the small towns I visit, I figured this Irish pub was worth a visit. Located in the southwest corner of a chain of stores or what we call a strip mall, the pub is tucked away. Upon entering, we were pleasantly... More

My family and I visited Mavis Winkle's recently for the first time and it will definitely be the last time. The place was empty and it took awhile for us to get service. My husband had to flag down a waitress to get service. The food was tasteless and cold to say the least. I ordered a corned beef sandwich,... More

Walked for some way to get to this place as I had checked them out online. I just wanted to have a quiet pint before bedtime and arrived at just after 9 pm. It was quite quiet and I checked the opening times on the door. This stated that it was open until 10pm as did the online information. I... More

Organized an after work happy hour. They were playing to loud 80's soft rock. (Air Supply, etc.). Asked them to change it up and they said no. Apps and service were average at best.

Great atmosphere. The food/drinks are typical Irish. Corned beef we had on the last visit was not as tasty as it usually is, but probably a fluke. I would recommend if you're in the mood for an Irish treat.

If you have to have a pint of Guinness, then this place will scratch your itch. Food is just a step above standard bar fare, some better than others. I think I'll go and get a pint now.
