Hands down, Ventura's has the BEST margies in the area. The food is good and the staff great. The menu has appetizers and soup that frequently are enough food, however their entrees are also tasty. It's frequently crowded, which is because so many people want...to go here, however if you go early you'll usually get a table in a reasonable amount of time. The prices are very reasonable and we always feel like we had a great evening which is why we continue to return on a regular basis.More

This is a great restaurant. The prices are extremely reasonable and the margaritas are absolutely the best. Staff is friendly the place is always crowded and the ambience is very authentic as well. Lots of happy cheery banter and always fun. There's no place like...it and we truly enjoyed it. It's sister restaurant, Loma Linda has suffered recently in her opinion because of their service. Stopped in for a late-night dinner with my daughter. Our server, Kay, was excellent and the Shrimp appetizers were the bomb! Refried beans were excellent too! The Cajun chicken enchilada was great and they have the best strawberry margaritas in town! Highly recommend Ventura's!

Came here on date night, also Tuesday booze day! Margarita specials. Food was hot service was great. Entrees almost beat the appetizers out of the kitchen. Erin our waitress was attentive and friendly! Great time as usual!

been coming to this place for 20 years.....Tex mex with pretty strong margies. as yogi berra said....nobody goes in there any more it's too crowded. If you like tex mex this is THE place to go in the greater Toledo area.

We stopped by for lunch on our way back out to the country. We were not disappointed. Great specials (which we passed on) and ordered a personal Mexican pizza and a super chunk beef burrito. Mmm mmm good! Of course, the margarita my wife had...was said to be superb, as was my Dos Equis Amber. Probably eat here 20x/yr...it's our "default".More

Some friends and I met here because it is equidistant from everyone, so we went in totally blind. It was around 5:30 on a Thursday and there were so many people piling in that I was sure there must be a large party happening. I...was wrong and it is simply an obvious love of the locals. I wish I had the good experience that brings so many people in. I got the fish tacos and they were by far the worst I have ever eaten (before that I had never had one that I didn't love). My fish was partially burnt and not tasty at all. Our table of 3 ran totally out of water (not fun while eating Mexican) and we had to flag down our very busy waitress. I ordered a margarita and it came back in a small drinking glass without anything on the rim. It was so strong that I had to give it to my girlfriend after 1 sip. We have enjoyed many of the Mexican restaurants around Toledo, but simply did not like this one at all. : - ( P.S. The hostess was very pleasant.More

Good value for the money, but not spectacular and nothing to write home about. Free chips and salsa, are just that, free so don't mind the broken chips and salsa in plastic jello shot cups. Margaritas were a let down. They used to be potent...but now are syrupy and frankly not worth the calories. Dinner was good, barbecued pork burrito was tasty, and filling. So take my review with a grain of salt, Ventura's is a good value, but it's not a 'fine dining' experience, but most Mexican restaurants are not either.More

We lunched here earlier this month. Been coming to Ventura's since the early 1980's. The food and the service has continued to be consistent. This establishment tends to become rather busy Thursday through Saturday in the evenings. So you might be better off going early...to avoid a wait for a table and a busy kitchen.More

Been going here for years enjoy most things, except the salsa, it isn’t good at all and has gotten worse over the years they should find a better vendor.
