We go to this restaurant regularly and have never been disappointed. Since they added the fresh baked pitas, it has only made us love them all the more. The schwarma & tawook are our favorite dinners. My daughter loves their lentil soup too.
don't judge a book by its cover should also apply to restaurants. While the outside isn't fancy, the food here is absolutely delicious, it really tastes like authentic levantine food. the portion sizes are great and the prices are reasonable. If you don't want to...dine in, they have a lot of options to deliver like Uber Eats, DoorDash or GrubHub.More
We enjoyed talking to Heather, our hostess/server. We bought a Groupon on a whim, not knowing the area very well. This was a gem for a late lunch. We enjoyed the Greek salad with house dressing and 2 iced teas. Our $15 Groupon covered it...all except $1.05. We love the name of this restaurant, which means "Come, Eat!"More
Ordered from here many times...pick up or delivery. Excellent food on all previous orders, Yala Kol salad dressing is addictive. However, a new meat dish tried today was wretched! The beef was OVER salted and unpalatable. I attempted chew several pieces and understood immediately why...the meat was over salted....the beef was going bad. Threw out the $15 dish. From now on just sticking to the salad.More
Looks like 3rd rate from the outside, and doesn't look like much when one walks in, either. However, food is excellent and portions generous. We have now eaten there a number of times, always for lunch, and always get the lunch special on Mon, Tues,...or Wed. Food is warm when served, tasty, and plentiful. We haven't had anything that isn't good. With the special, get bread and 2 sides (salad, soup, fries, and one other choice I can't recall). When we've gone for lunch, usually just one or two other couples in there, and service has been fine. If have a "tight" lunch "hour," might be best to call in your order ahead of time. We've not been time crunched, and main dish usually has come out around time salad is finished. Lunch special is about $7.50 and we end up with left-over boxes. 5* food. If physical appearance of the facility itself is important to you, this isn't your style place. Don't misunderstand - it is clean - nice dishware - but this is informal and not 5* resort type dining.More
Yala Kol has Amazing food every time, and great prices. We love coming here. They now give you fresh bread when you order which is so piping hot the butter just melts instantly and the bread falls apart in your mouth.
The tawook chicken is...heavenly. I don't know what they season it with but I almost died eating it, it was so delicious. We have come here several times and each time the service has been friendly, fast, and efficient. They have never made mistakes even though we have requested substitutions and omissions. Seriously never had a bad experience. If I weren't so stuffed I'd be headed back already!More
We were looking for a new restaurant to try, and I found the listing on Google Maps. We went on a Wednesday night, the place wasn't too crowded and we were seated immediately. Staff is very friendly and attentive. I had the Chicken Shwarma while...my fiance had the Spinach Pie. Both were excellent and very filling. We ended up taking a box home with the garlic sauce (which was dangerously good).More
Been following owners for years through different restaurants because the food is amazing. As far as I'm concerned the best middle eastern food in Toledo and we have a lot to choose from. My favorite is the sauted chicken with mushrooms. They have a house...tea that is very unusual and unique.More
