I love it here! We were there longer than expected because service was slow, but our server was great! A few of our guests didn't' care for their meals, but they were trying something new (I think it was the goat cheese) and I think Zia's has their own variation on classics. Five of us came for my birthday, including... More

Zia's has a number of great dishes, it's my favorite restaurant at the Docks. The best thing, in my humble opinion, is the pizza. Massive would be an understatement. They bring the thing out on a kitchen-island-sized serving tray - and yet you will find yourself devouring the whole thing between just a couple people. The delicate-thin crust and high-end... More

We've been to Zia's a number of times. The food and service are always quite excellent. And there's a good selection on the menu. The river front location provides a nice view of the city skyline, across the river. And, if the season is right, there's outdoor seating overlooking the river. The only down side is that its a bit... More

We ordered the asiago al forno, insalata della casa and spaghetti with meatballs with the meat sauce as recommended by our very attentive servers. The kalamata olive butter was also really tasty spread on crusty Italian bread. Yay for carbs!Everything came out piping hot and incredibly tasty. After three wonderful courses we eyeballed the dessert tray. Cheesecakes, flourless chocolate cake,... More

I am normally a fan of this special occasion Italian restaurant on the Toledo Waterfront. Went there for an anniversary dinner. The server was new-ish, but nice. He took good care of us for a weeknight when nobody was in the restaurant. I ordered Chicken Amaretto - two chicken breasts with sauce and vegetables. It was good. I ate the... More

Delightful meal by the river watching the sun set. My baked ziti was an enormous portion, and tasted homemade in the best possible way. The $7/glass Pinot Grigio was a good value. Attentive server. But the most fun was being right on the river, watching the people, ducks, geese, jet skis, boats and sunset.

Small Italian restaurant which makes you feel like you are in Italy. The food was good. Pizza are suppose to be very large. We saw them set it on two large tomatoe cans next to us (looks like thin crust). Service was good. They also have an outside area to eat which is along the river. The parking is free... More

My wife and I went with a large group. We made reservations and they sat us immediately. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. We all had different types of food... Appetizers, pizzas, salads, etc. Everything was delicious. My only complaint was the salmon portion on my Caesar salad was way too small. It tasted great, but it was too... More

My wife and I went there on Tuesday night. The food and service were both excellent just like the many other times we have visited. During these nice weather days I highly recommend dining on the patio with the river and the downtown in the background. Our waiter, Jake, was very personal and made some excellent recommendations. I loved the... More
