I visited here with my daughter. I got the fish sandwich, her a burger and we shared the brussels sprouts. Everything was excellent. I'd love to go back and have a slow dinner with drink as the atmosphere was great and seemed like a great...place to go when they have their live music.More

Terrible service. 2 days prior my family made a reservation and was confirmed. An hour before we called to confirm outdoor seating and the restaurant verified our outdoor seating reservation. Upon arrival, which was slightly before our reservation time, we were told a “regular” came...in and demanded the table that was reserved for my family. We were told no other tables were available. Behavior like this speaks volume to their character and business model. Hard to grow a business when you only cater to regulars.More

This is a rather small venue but they use the space well, by having high tops, bar seats and tables up one step in the main area. We were seated at a high top in the bar area where we could see the TV's. Nice...simplistic, rustic, upscale decor . We made several special requests on our entrees due to food allergies etc, and were very willingly accommodated. We very much enjoyed the lamb, sunfish and shrimp scampi dishes. All were delicious, especially the lamb. The menu is contemporary and the main reason we went is that it is "farm to table". We will go back.More

My husband and I just had dinner at Plat8 for the first, and last, time. We orderd two appetizers--the fried greed tomatoes and the brussel sprouts. I tasted both, or tried to. Neither had any flavor, and although the place was nearly empty, both were...cooled to room temperature when they were served. My entree was no better tasting and no hotter. For $18 I got 7 overcooked, under-seasoned shrimp, severed on a bed of unseasoned spaghetti squash. There were several poka dots of a grocery store quality pesto, whcih did had some flavor, but not enough to save the dish. Just to add to our experience, we were served water in a bottle filled so near the top that you couldn't pour it wihtout spilling.More

Normally a favorite restaurant of ours on Friday nights, this time left a bad taste in our mouths. We ordered at the bar as usual and in order to save some money we shared an appetizer, sandwich, dessert and bottle of wine. The food was...good but we noticed both the app and sandwich were much smaller than usual. However when we paid, we received a shock. The bottle of wine—a Sauvignon blanc normally $30-32 was $45!! When we questioned the bartender—who knew we always ordered this brand and even suggested it. we were told “ “oh yes, it really went up in price” and that was it. No apology that she didn’t tell us beforehand. Shame on me for not asking the price of the same wine each and every time I ordered it, and shame on them as we won’t be back anytime soon. Paying $85 + tip for a small meal for 2 was not worth it.More

The first two times I went here, it became one of my favorites. The last 3 times, I made up my mind to not go back. Service sucked. It's a small, comtemporary loft looking place with food that resembles that of an upper end place,...which this is, including the pricing, however, they fail when it comes to the bottom line. Dinner choices limited, for sure. OLne trip, we ended up doing a bowl of sour and an appetizer because the half dozen menu items were obscure, something you'd probably not want. Last two visits, it came out cold, after waiting 40 minutes for it after ordering. It also can get noisy here. Be careful of the dimly lit step up to the main small dining area. Despite the issues I've had, this place seems to be bush, but I won't go back anytime soon.More

Went in for dinner and had a poor experience. Charcuterie plate isn’t good - cheese is fine but the meats are sliced well and aren’t very good. Chicken BLT was awful and our sons cheeseburger was way undercooked. We mentioned it and instead of not...charging us, they gave us a dessert. Bar area is nice for a drinkMore
