Our favorite is their wonderful happy hour, M-F 5-9 1/2 off most appetizers, and $6.00 glass of wine. If you would like to partake, ask to be seated in the bar area, which consist of a bar of course, and several comfortable booths. the casual, elegant atmosphere keeps us coming back. I especially like the chopped salad, and my husband... More

My husband and I love going to this restaurant and we have taken our visitors there too. We have never had a bad meal and the wait staff is fantastic! If you go on your birthday...it must be on the exact day...you get a discount plus a free dessert. I always order Calamari and a veal dinner. Go and you... More

We had family in from out of town. No issues at all making reservations during a holiday week. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating for the whole party. I had the filet with mushrooms and goat cheese. It was delicious. The cream of cauliflower soup was fantastic as well. Great proportions.

The service was attentive but not burdensome. The food was all made from freshly prepared ingredients. We ordered the bread and cheese appetizer - hot and delicious. The bread with the meal was crusty on the outside and soft inside - exactly as it should be. The pastas we ordered were cooked well. The pesto cream sauce I had was... More

For a Main St. Venture restaurant that is supposed to have high end Italian food and service Ciao has really fallen off the map. We had not been here for years and now I know why. We arrived at around 6:30 and were seated immediately. It was Sunday and they were not busy. The waiter came and took our order... More

This was my first time and my last time to this restaurant. Seated at 7:30 walked out at 10pm the last people in the place. Service is very slow, and not on the money at all, drink glasses sit empty, bread basket gone, plain oil to dip your bread in. This is what they call "upscale" and "authentic" Italian I... More

Good ambiance, but hit and miss with the food quality. For the price, it should always be a hit and I'm batting a 50% average right now. The menu is offered on a tablet as opposed to a paper menu. I personally don't like this but understand the economics of changing something electronically than printing a whole new menu.

Ciao's is a first-rate Italian restaurant, located on the main drag in Sylvania. The appetizers were especially yummy. The various sauces are light. The pasta dishes were praised by all. I did think, however, that the chicken parm lacked flavorful taste. But you can't go wrong here. Plenty of parking, upscale dining room, reasonable prices, and an attentive waitstaff complete...
