A flat top griddle, a picnic checked counter and booths and diner food done right--Jim's Open Kitchen. For over fifty years, Jim's has been sling hash, burgers, fries, pies, eggs, pancakes, and more for breakfast and lunch. Want a BLT or burger and fries for breakfast--no problem! It's good, stick to your ribs diner food that slides of the griddle,... More

Very nice freshly made breakfast. Place is small and seating is limited, but the quality and fast of the food great.

Two of us sat at Jim's from 7:30 to almost 8:00 this morning waiting for a table. Most had finished eating, they were just talking. During our wait, a man came in and sat at the counter. He was in the process of eating his breakfast when a table opened. Although we were first, and although we stood up, and... More

I found Jim's on trip advisor and stopped for breakfast. Two eggs over easy, link sausage, toast and home fries on the blacktop. Two men working as a team moving food to the servers, all working like a Swiss clock, I was impressed! My food was plenty warm when served and everything cooked perfectly! I sat at the counter and... Great atmosphere and great food! This is the only high quality local diner in the area. The service is outstanding as well. We're actually leery about leaving such a positive review because we don't want the secret to get out. It is small and only takes cash.

Cheap eats, dive diner but you go for the food! Amazing breakfasts and lunches. I think they close in the afternoon so check with them. Very good 50's authentic food!

This place is great for breakfast & lunch. It's been here a long time. Very small but food is great. Best breakfast in town.

You need to understand your expectations when going into Jim's. This place is the classic greasy spoon and has all the associated ambiance as well. The entire restaurant is within eyesight of the grill and earshot of the clanging of the spatulas on the grill. If you're expecting something even slightly high class, you're in the wrong place. I love... More

Food and service is always good at Jim's. Small 50's style diner, breakfast is great no matter what you order and but if you go for lunch you will not be disappointed.

Uber cheesy ... Uber busy decor.. Uber 70s entrance.. But the food is right, in the end that's what matters. . But goodness it's time to upgrade what a " diner " needs to look like.. You have to attract younger people or your doomed to the ways of those albums on your wall..
