We overnighted in Salem and needed a place to eat. The choices in Salem, Ohio are limited to say the least. We got a really nice surprise when we found Ricky's. It offers traditional English pub dishes. We ordered our Guinness and I had the...fish and chips which were very good. I recommend sitting at the bar. The ladies behind the bar were extra friendly and efficient. This would be a five but they don't have Guinness on tap. She poured it from a can. It was OK but.More

Have eaten there before COVID and was always more than satisfied. Had a family birthday celebration in the back room it was awesome. Got take out dinner forSt Patty’s day. The Corn Beef & Cabbage was really good. The Shepards pie was good as well...as the Guinness Fish & Chips. The servers were great. I live in Maryland but when visiting Leetonia I am sure to eat there again. They are consistently good to excellent.More

This has to be the cleanest restaurant we've ever been in! Especially for the middle of the winter in a small town like Salem. Honestly, even the carpet was spotless. The tables and chairs and bar area shines! The food is excellent! We recommend Shepherd's...Pie and Pecan crusted Grouper. The service can't be beat! Linda was our waitress/bar attendant. Super friendly and helpful! The owner was also very friendly! We live 35 miles away. It's worth the distance and we will be back!More

Stopped in for an early dinner. We both ordered the Shepherds Pie (very good). The place was clean & staff friendly. Plenty of street parking around town. Looking forward to going back.

We had a small reunion of about 20 mostly retired military guys from the Youngstown Air base here. The food was very good , service was outstanding and the facilities were very clean and well kept. All in the group agreed. We may do a...another meet up in the spring and will definitely consider coming back here. Keep up the great work !!More

I loved the Traditional Reuben! Just the right balance of ingredients and flavor. My wife thought that the Shepherds Pie was excellent and reminiscent of what we had experienced on several trips to Britain. Our server was attentive and pleasant and the menu works well...for lunch or dinner.More

We drove here on Mother’s Day 2021 and the food and service was even better than expected. We had called ahead and our table was already set when we arrived. The tuna steak and blackened salmon spinach salad are two of the best that I’ve...had and the chicken parm was perfect with a lightly battered crispy crust. The desserts were excellent and the coffee was also good.More

Based on luckily seeing a report in the local newspaper, we visited Ricky’s to see how English it is. We were happily surprised; the English specials were very good. Between us we had the bubble and squeak, the fish and chips and lamb chops. All...of it was very good, especially the chips which were real “English” chips; large, crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. The desserts were huge, especially the chocolate gateau which subsequently served three people at home! The pub also had English beers and it was a happy discovery to find Old Speckled Hen in cans. The atmosphere was quite like a small English pub; it was cosy with friendly, very helpful, service. Will visit againMore

They have excellent food. The environment is very casual and friendly. I just don't understand why they wouldn't have the air on. My entire family was miserable.

A nice quiet spot to grab a bite. Do not know if gets busier on weekend but a weeknight - easy to get it and just enjoy. Friendly waitress. Service was quick. All the English beers you would expect. Wonderful warm bread. Shephard’s pie was...ok. Had carrots and celery in it which I never like but some do. Gravy a bit tomatoey.More

My daughter and I went for a light quiet lunch. I ordered the salmon salad with sweet potato fries. The salmon and fries were fine; however, the lettuce and fruit were decidedly old, wilted, browned and bruised!! The service was very good. I wish the...food would have matched the service.More
