My wife and I drove 45 minutes to come here. It's one of our favorite pizza restaurants. I get Italian sausage pizza, my wife ordered fresh mushroom pizza with a side of breaded mushrooms. Everything is delicious. During Covid-19, it's carry out only. But normally parking is hard, their lot is small. They offer fish, subs, salads and pasta too. Prices ate reasonable too. The pizza is always good!

Great pizza. Everything is good. Appetizers are all great. No inside dining at this time due to shortage in help but food is great.

This was the very first pizza I ate as a child growing up in Middletown. It continues to be my favorite pizza in Ohio. Ron Kimmel does a great job running this place as his father did before him.

My husband and I have been longtime fans of Cassano's pizza. We discovered Cassano's through my grandmother, who lived in Middletown, OH and had one located near her home. After my grandmother passed, my husband and I would make trips to Middletown to visit the cemetery and have Cassano's for lunch. We soon discovered they had Cassano's in Springfield, OH, which is about a 45 minute drive for us, so we would occasionally go when the urge hit!
Over the weekend, we were in the Indian Lake area, and we discovered they had a Cassano's Pizza there, so we stopped in for lunch. This is definitely the nicest Cassano's we have visited as a server actually came and took our order (usually, we order at the counter). The service was great; the pizza was outstanding. We would highly recommend them to anyone visiting the area. In our opinion, there is no better pizza than Cassano's. I just wish they had locations in Columbus!!

Had taco salad and it was pretty good....the pork tenderloin sandwich hubby has look yummy. We usually have their pizza which we love. Good local place to go. Love the old photos and Indian lake decor.

Located right off US33, across from McDonald’s was a great change of pace from the ordinary lunch of burgers. We were driving from Washington DC and decided to take the back roads, and found this place. Friendly staff, great food and a local favorite. We stopped in around 12:30 pm and were pleased to see a lunch menu.
Spaghetti and salad was less than $4.50!
My husband ordered the lasagna and salad for $4.99. The portion side of was very good, they offered a very good apple cider vinegarette.
The restaurant is bright, open with tables and booths.

I love Cassanos! We used to have one in Lima but now the closest one I know of is at Indian Lake. They have lots of other choices besides pizza too. It seems like they're always busy so I wouldn't recommend going there if you're in a hurry.

While Cassano's is a chain of restaurants, this particular location has a flair of it's own. Not only is there a top notch staff, to cater to any individual wants, or needs, but the place is definitely very high on the scale for cleanliness and delicious. If there is any drawback to this restaurant, it is that you can't bring 30 of your friends, but hey......they have carryout pizza and assorted goodies, so sitting alongside one of Ohio's historical lakesides (Indian Lake) while dining on some incredible fare from Cassano's is still a great option!

there was a Cassano's in Toledo over 30 years ago. i always thought it was the best pizza ever. when i was passing through Russell's Point and saw the sign i was elated! ordered a small with bacon and black olives cut in the little squares and savored each bite on the way home. thank you for the trip back in time!

Cassano's is a chain but this one is better than most. They have a house dressing that is to die for! In addition, their fried pickles (picture) are the absolute best I've ever had in any restaurant. The pizza is great, nice and crispy. I would highly recommend stopping by and waiting in a line (if there is one), worth the wait!

The Bad: The parking lot is small, the seating is limited and the line at the door started at 5 pm and never went reduced in size. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and it was more than $19 for a large and it had about 19 pieces of pepperoni on it. Skimpy on the toppings for sure.
The Good: The pizza was not what I remembered from the 70's, but I think that is more of a me problem, instead of a them problem. It's better than most pizza's (including Donatos) and probably the best in this area. But still no Benny's Pizza in Marysville and that is the yard stick I use. So if you are in Russells Point, then get there early and enjoy. The weight staff was very good and they were very busy. But they did a great job.

If you like pizza , you must stop here. The pizza is legendary. Service is outstanding , servers are friendly and. Efficient. Parking can be difficult but you can get there by boat on Indian Lake !

People know Indian lake more bc they come here "for that good pizza place" than that lake out there. Lol. My old hairdresser in Allen county comes once a month. Takes orders from whole family then also gets one for her for the way home.

Been here for over 40 years. Good food, great service, good prices. Take out or eat in. Loved the old photos of Indian Lake and the map on the wall. Nice local restaurant.

Oh yes!!It is the old school Cassano's pizza that we love, thin and crispy!! Fish and chips are also a god choice! Gotta love it!
