We frequented this restaurant when we lived nearby - eating there at least twice a month on Friday nights for fifteen years. We moved away, but had a chance to stop in last Saturday night. The flat screen TV's may be bigger, there may be more beer mugs hanging from the ceiling, everything else was true to form, Whitey's! The... More

We have been visiting Whitey's for years and have NEVER been dissappointed! The food has always been fantastic and the service great. It is always packed and the servers are running their butts off in order to get food to the table quickly and piping hot (by reading other reviews, I guess some mistake this for rude). If you keep... Whitey's serves burgers the way other places wish they could. You can get your as big as you really want. Want a ton of cheese on your burger? You got it. Love lot of mushrooms on your burger? No problem. You want chili on your burger? They will do it. The fries and onion rings are to die for as... More

Love the coliseum fries! If you are craving greasy food, this is your spot, just be certain to bring cash or a check because that is all they accept. Can only speak to the burgers which offer a variety. The patties are above average but not great, its the toppings that give the flavor.

Whitey's known for its burgers which are worth the visit, however, the wings were awful, deep fried with loads of breading and served with a dipping sauce. The wings were small and had more breading than meat. Not even worth the 47 cents they cost. get a burger. cash only

We visited Whitey's on a Friday night and the place was packed. It was very loud but again it was packed and three deep at the bar. We got seated however right away. Waited a while for service and when I ordered a ginger ale I was told it would be a while since it comes from the bar. But... More

When you are in the mood for a good burger, you have to try this place! Great tasting food and good service. A bit loud when they are packed.

We each had a burger. They were very good, however the buns were too soft for how much "saucey" stuff they put on their burgers. So they were very messy. It was a Sunday afternoon and we were just looking for a local place for a sandwich. It was very dark inside and the other guests being seated mentioned that,... More

When the Cleveland Cavs were in the coliseum here, this was the go to place after the game. Established in the 1950's, still family run......wonderful comfort foods and great tavern for TV games. The place is still a great destination, we waited 20 minutes for a booth, the locals know good food. The Chili-Cheeseburger with homemade fries, easily feeds 2... More

When we saw a lot of local license plates in the parking lot of Whitey's Booze N' Burgers, we knew the food was going to be terrific! We started with the 22 oz. local draft Whitey Knot Hole Red Beer ($4.00 each) Since "burger" is in their name, we both ordered burgers ($9.99 for black & blue and $9.49 for... More
