Local Italian family-owned restaurant. The staff was helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. Especially the penne pasta and sausage. The sausage was a bit spicy, not sweet. The linguinis with clams and LOTS of clams. We had a great home-made tiramisu for dessert. Great find.

The best that you'll find anywhere. Genuine northern Italian cuisine. Best family owned Resturant in the city. Dont miss out. You'll be sorry.

We stopped in for a family gathering. Like someone else mentioned, very unassuming from the outside. Great atmosphere inside. Outstanding friendly, responsive service. The manicotti was outstanding! Several people had the LuLu and loved it. One person had a pizza and loved it. The Arancini was outstanding We all shared Chocolate Pate' cake and New York cheesecake and both were... More

I hadn't been for a while so a friend and I stopped by. The bread at one time was wonderful but now it is cold white bread. My friend sent his dinner back. I did not finish mine. I could not believe it. The food was terrible. I once loved this place but some changes have occurred. The staff, the... More

Always delicious food with friendly service. Unassuming on the outside, but comfortable and cozy on the inside. We never leave here disappointed. My wife loves the chicken Marsala and I enjoy the manicotti. The pizzas are delicious as well.

When someone from out of town visits Columbus, I always take them to Scali’s. It’s located in a strip center, but don’t let that deter you. It’s hands down the best Italian food in Central Ohio. Frank and his wife will make sure you have an enjoyable meal.

We eat at Scali's at least once a week and are never disappointed. I get an email twice a week with the list of specials prepared for that week. We can't say we have a favorite server because they are all so friendly. The food...what can I say! Start off with the zuppa, perfectly seasoned chicken broth with tiny meatballs,... More

More hits than misses for our recent meals there. The initial service by our waiter, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable, was a good start. A nice range of menu items and an unusually large selection of nightly specials added to the anticipation. Then came the salads. Both the Caesar and house Italian were fresh but, at $6 apiece, decidedly on the... More

Small mom and pop place. Owners are always there (hostess and chef). Always yummy with friendly staff. I love sitting at the bar watching the guys cook. Peasant tortellini and alfredo are to die for. Only complaint is I wish they were open for lunch (they closed a while back and only opened for dinners).
