First of all there's not much atmosphere, it looks like a converted burger joint. Next, you serve yourself at the entrance area, you'll figure it out. Finally, the fish (Perch) dinner was good but no value meal, kind of expensive. If you just want something to eat and don't want to impress anyone, then, this is a pretty good place... More

This place seems to be more of a local hang out but don't let that fool you. Amazing perch meals and the hush puppies are scrumptious as well! Enjoyed the outside dining area as well!

When looking for a place to eat we noticed all the cars coming and going from this local little place. No regrets for pulling in and eating fish! Order at the window and they bring your food. In the window is a breading machine that is mesmerizing to watch and it flips the fish in the breading and travels on... More

The reason they are so popular is that their fried fish (walleye, perch, grouper, shrimp, clams, etc.) is good and reasonably priced. Customers tolerate everything else because the fish is good. The wait is often long, you stand in line to order at a single window and take a number. Staff runs around inside and outside trying to figure out... More

This was my first time at Jolly Roger but will definitely not be my last. This is a famous no frills fish house that is to die for. We tried a little bit of everything on the menu. We ordered the perch and shrimp dinner, peel and eat shrimp, shrimp and fries, chicken and fries, coleslaw and hush puppies. Everything... More

Go here. Trust me. You'll be so glad you did! Casual, but oh-so-delicious! We didn't know how popular this place was until we were there, and then reading more about it later. We stumbled upon it as it was next door to the Quality Inn that we were staying at. Shrimp and fish -- both excellent! The staff works like... More

The specialty there is Walleye or Perch, I had never had either and the name Walleye was a little off putting so I told my husband I wanted a Perch Sandwich and Onion Rings and a Lobster Bisque. He forgot what I said and came back with the Bisque, and a Walleye Platter, It was a huge amount of food... More
