We have been coming here off and on for 30 years. The perch and walleye are really the best. Also great waffle fries and onion rings. I was so glad that we decided to stop before they closed for the season.

What a great place! Along the shore of Lake Erie, the best perch sandwich ever. Great service, wonderful food!

Jolly Rogers is highly recommended by locals....which is saying a lot. And they are SO right. Amazing fresh seafood, best hushpuppies in the world, and REALLY good onion rings. You will not be disappointed and you will hardly be able to wait to go back for more. :) Walleye, perch, shrimp ... and chicken for those in the family who... More

Always fresh. It's so good that it should be a sin. I skip the fries and just go for the perch boat. Heck it's even good cold out of the cooler.

This place did not disappoint. We had the perch and the walleye and both were prepared great. The food here is fried perfectly - not greasy or oily. The clam chowder was excellent and we also enjoyed the hush puppies and waffle fries. Wish we lived a little closer to visit more often.

It was 3 pm on a Sunday afternoon when my wife and I pulled into the last parking spot in their lot. Needless to say this is a very popular local place to eat. It is a four hour drive for us so we only stop when we are in the area. We last ate here two years ago. We... More

First of all there's not much atmosphere, it looks like a converted burger joint. Next, you serve yourself at the entrance area, you'll figure it out. Finally, the fish (Perch) dinner was good but no value meal, kind of expensive. If you just want something to eat and don't want to impress anyone, then, this is a pretty good place... More

This place seems to be more of a local hang out but don't let that fool you. Amazing perch meals and the hush puppies are scrumptious as well! Enjoyed the outside dining area as well!

When looking for a place to eat we noticed all the cars coming and going from this local little place. No regrets for pulling in and eating fish! Order at the window and they bring your food. In the window is a breading machine that is mesmerizing to watch and it flips the fish in the breading and travels on... More

The reason they are so popular is that their fried fish (walleye, perch, grouper, shrimp, clams, etc.) is good and reasonably priced. Customers tolerate everything else because the fish is good. The wait is often long, you stand in line to order at a single window and take a number. Staff runs around inside and outside trying to figure out... More
