Go Monday or Tuesday!!!
Sushi is 50% off!! Had very fresh and delicious sushi. They have a huge menu with lots of Asian choices not just sushi. The service and atmosphere was great!!! Nice place for a mea.
I dined here this week on the recommendation of a friend. The restaurant was as good as the recommendation. We both had Chinese selections and they were excellent and plentiful. Most of the people were having sushi from what I could see. I need to...explore that part of the menu in the future.More
We went with friends. I have seen this place come up a bunch of times on Trip Advisor. I don’t know why we didn’t go. It’s in a sort of dumpy plaza. Nothing to see really. But full bar!
So glad we went on 1/2...price sushi night! So very good. Got some sushi as an app, I had chicken udon entree. Husband had some other Asian entree. Friends had all sorts of stuff. All so true.
Service was super duper slow. We were not in a hurry. But they were completely understaffed.
Who cares, the food was frickin amazing. All of it, every thing from the sushi, the seaweed salad our friend got, entrees.
Good news is that when it is that busy, the ingredients should be fresh! And it was. Cannot wait to go back!!!! We have planned to go back next week.More
After reading all the good reviews of this restaurant, I decided to roll the dice and give it a shot. Snake eyes!
This restaurant is located in a strip mall, next to a Dollar Tree & TJ Maxx.
After reviewing the menu and being told...they dont have O'Toro or Hamachi Kama, I ordered the Shrimp Shumai, Gyoza and Beef Tataki.
The Shumai and Gyoza were not made in-house. I was informed they are purchased from a food supplier (Sysco?). They were clearly machine-made and lacked any flavor or character. The Tataki, which generally is seared and rare in the middle, was overcooked and bland.
This restaurant has a full liquor selection, but doesn't have a Sunday Liquor license. The Sapporo beer was good though.
The sign on the front of the restaurant says it all "Help Wanted".More
There not many good Sushi places in this area but Blue Ginger is one of them. They are my second choice when in the mood for Sushi. They have nice week day deals like 1/2 off Sushi on Monday and Tuesdays. The rest of the...menu is good as well..I recommend the Spicy EdamameMore
I have been to Blue Ginger several times over the past few years with my wife and parents. The service has always been top-notch, and the hostess was very accommodating to my father in a wheel chair.
I usually get the seaweed or avocado salads...and various sushi rolls or sashimi. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the decor is sharp. They have 1/2 sushi nights on Monday and Tuesday which is very popular.More
We are out of towners and visited Blue Ginger based on reviews. I would say it's average. Nothing spectacular. We tried 2 different soups, 2 sushi rolls, pad thai, and sesame chicken. The best thing was the coconut soup. The rest could have easily come...from a microwaveable meal and sushi from a grocery store.More
I enjoyed the food here but also enjoyed the cocktails. I came with friends once and returned with my hubby. I liked the food both times. Authentic Asian with mild and spicy choices. Sake and tea served in traditional style. I had the avocado peanut...roll, the sweet potato roll, and the cucumber roll which came as one platter. It was very good, a nice vegetable choice.More
