Stopped early on a weekday. We were not staying at the lodge, but talked with locals that said it was a nice place for a celebration. We were celebrating a great week of fun and bird watching. Good wine and we loved with our fish entrees. I would return again when I am in the area. They had yummy pie,... More

We had lunch at Water’s Edge restaurant at Maumee Bay Lodge. Very clean facility, wait staff was excellent, and food was delicious. The restaurant view was beautiful overlooking an inland pond and Lake Erie beyond the tailored landscape. I ordered the Turkey Reuben and Tiramisu Mini. The Turkey Reuben was the best I've had so far with the right balance... More

We ate most of our meals here. The food was excellent. Sunday we had the Sunday Brunch buffet for lunch. I really enjoyed the waffles. They had a large selection along with made to order omelets and carved ham. The desert bar was amazing. For dinner we had the salmon and shrimp. Both were good. For lunch we had salads... More

A friend and I went to the Oregon area to bird-watch at the famous Magee Marsh. A fellow birder I met recommended the lodge for dinner. Normally, on a birding trip, I prefer a less expensive restaurant--but this place was worth the splurge. My friend had the walleye; I ordered the fiesta chicken. We both had salads beforehand. We very... More

Now understand that they do take a little time preparing your dish, but it's not much and the food is an incredible well-worth it wait! I have never had anything here that I didn't like and that wasn't fresh. The Sunday brunches are divine. It is a little pricey, but you enjoy yourself so much that you don't mind.

As with the lodge staff, the restaurant staff are great to hang around with. We ate at both the Ice Breaker Lounge and the Water's Edge Restaurant. It's tough to balance cost of food with quality of food; my wife and I would have liked to pay a little more and increased quality (quantity was fine). I can't say the... More

Visited during a dinner/banquet. The banquet room overlooked the Harbor and twenty could step outside with our drinks to enjoy the sunset. The food served was excellent. The restrooms were a long walk from the dining room - would strongly suggest correcting that as soon as possible.

The lodge is located on the bay with a view of the lake. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the patio outside the room watching the sun set. The breakfast we had at the restaurant was good. The golf course was in very good shape. We enjoyed our round in spite of it being a... More
