Just had our first meal there and we're already planning to go back. This is one of the most incredible meals I have ever had. All 4 in out party selected from a three course menu and every course was delicious. The French Onion soup was the best I have ever had. The salmon was done perfectly and was simply... More
Four different dinners and four wonderful experiences. Olmsted Falls is a charming place to visit but George and Claudine, who is the chef, make it wonderful. The escargot appetizer with puff pastry is terrific, entrees have included the scallops, veal, steak au poivre, lamb and rabbit for the adventuresome. We've enjoyed them all and at a very respectable dining cost.... More
Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday - everything was wonderful and Georges the owner was charming and informative. The food was absolutely first class. We'll be back for more.
We were celebrating my Mom's birthday. All of our meals were fantastic and the service was great too. The waitress picked up on the fact we were celebrating a birthday and brought dessert with a candle. It is a smaller restaurant and very quaint atmosphere. Loved it !!
This was our first visit to Le Bistro Du Beaujolais and will not be our last. We celebrated our 47th anniversary. It was the best....very charming, attentive service and our meal was wonderful. The French onion soup the best I've ever had; and the mussels were superb. Merci beaucoup!
This bistro is authentically French and serves quality food with friendly service. We especially enjoyed the dessert or pears served with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate. We dined on the patio and enjoyed the ambiance of the quaint street of shops. We will definitely return!
12/30/15 ,lunch with wife and two of her friends to celebrate christmas. Two had french onion soup[excellent] with a fine quich lorraine, pea soup[also excellent lightly creamed],beef stroganoff [no sour cream sauce],a scallop dish and a salad [both nicely prepared and served]. Service was impeccable as usual. We would and will return for another delightful meal and experience.
This was our first experience here and it was well worth it. The mushroom filled with veal and the scallop appetizers were excellent. The main entrees of beef wellington and sole were also excellent. The crème brûlée was as good as we had in Paris. The wines are French and you can find a decent priced glass within all the... More
My wife and I recently had dinner at Le Bistro and found it to exceed all of our expectations. The food, service and atmosphere are just what one would expect from a small, quaint restaurant somewhere in France. Fortunately, we had the benefit of it being conveniently located in Olmsted Falls. We both started with the French Onion Soup which... More
