I'm from the area so I know what to expect but was disappointed. Brought my fiancé to my pre-reunion meet n greet. My sandwich was good fries were lukewarm. He got veal, German potato salad and cooked cabbage and said it was not good. Veal looked very dry to me. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Maybe cuz it was so busy with... More

Great German food and beer. Good place for lunch groups to eat and play darts. Love the atmosphere and the German food. Is near the Rout 77 expressway.

The Geisen Haus doesn't look like much from the outside but inside it is soooooo good. The food is darned close to authentic. The beer is authentic and icy cold. Sausage, sauerkraut balls, potato pancakes, and spaetzle were my dining choices but the schnitzel looked good as well. The atmosphere was laid back and the staff attentive and friendly. The... More

Everything I had was worthy of any meal I've ever eaten in Germany...knockwurst, sauerkraut balls, potato pancakes, spaetzel, were all top notch. But the diamond of the meal was the German potato salad....bought an extra order to take home!!! Although it isn't German, the German chocolate cake was excellent!

We enjoy german food and beer. Neither was a disappointment. The beer selection is great, you can try a sample of beer if you aren't sure. So many to pick from I went with Warsteiner. Tried jaeger schnitzel a little dry but good, red cabbage tasty, potato pancakes very creamy, knockers best I have had. Very local casual dress.

It is a very low key place to grab a bite to eat. It has good bar food at its best. Excellent selection of beer.

Took the grand kid here for christmas and they enjoyed their meals. Hubby and I go there when we have a date night. All the food is out of this world.

I would describe the food as German-American - which is probably a good thing for the American palate. Our group ordered the daily special - which was a combo plate of bratwurst and wienerschnitzel - and the chicken schnitzel. All of the side dishes were very good - we chose the red cabbage, potato pancakes, noodles. We also had the... More

Visited about a week ago and we were not disappointed. Had a variety of sides along with the meal. Everything was tasty. Nice selection of beers and enjoyed the atmosphere. Place could use some sprucing up though.

After 30 years I got to try Geisen Haus. I must say that it was absolutely delicious. I order the Mannheim with the Hot Sausage. It was seriously the best sausage sandwich I have ever had. The gentleman who went with me got the Bismark. He devoured it and said the mushrooms were exceptional!!! I honestly cannot wait to go... More
