This will be mixed. We were a party of six. For those of us who have been to Germany we were disappointed but for the others? They were happy. It does have a nice atmosphere and a large selection of German food. I did like the free popcorn and the selection of draft beer was great. I highly recommend trying... More

Geison Haus CLOSED on Oct 17, 2016 I haven't read about any serious plans to re-open. We ate here several times over the past few years, and always had good food and service, but there were financial problems. Sorry to see it close.

Went with friends who live in the area who are big beer drinkers. They swear by it and the wine I had was pretty good too. The food was good, but the service was lacking. The benches for seats weren't very comfortable. The band was actually really good.

Interesting location, somewhat easy to find. Walked in, looked like a bar instead of maybe a Gasthaus or Restaurant. In typical bar fashion there were uncomfortable benches in booths, some tables, but overall missing the essential "gemutluchkeit of a good German restaurant. The food at best was greasy, tasteless. the "Jagerschnitzel" would have made a better mud flap, dry, beaten... More

Typical pub style food, with a German flair. Nothing to 'write home about', in my opinion. Thought they could have created a more authentic German menu. The restaurant/pub is very dark, with out dated furniture. But, the service was great and because we were with dear friends, the night was fun! I'd say go if you just want a bite... More

I have been coming here since I was 6 years old, then with my Dad's golf league; its still the same. The forte is German food and it is as close to authentic German food as they have in Canton Ohio. I probably would not take kids after 9 PM on the weekends but other than that it is a... More

I'm from the area so I know what to expect but was disappointed. Brought my fiancé to my pre-reunion meet n greet. My sandwich was good fries were lukewarm. He got veal, German potato salad and cooked cabbage and said it was not good. Veal looked very dry to me. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Maybe cuz it was so busy with... More

Great German food and beer. Good place for lunch groups to eat and play darts. Love the atmosphere and the German food. Is near the Rout 77 expressway.

The Geisen Haus doesn't look like much from the outside but inside it is soooooo good. The food is darned close to authentic. The beer is authentic and icy cold. Sausage, sauerkraut balls, potato pancakes, and spaetzle were my dining choices but the schnitzel looked good as well. The atmosphere was laid back and the staff attentive and friendly. The... More
