Tasted the good local cuisine with family. friendly staff and good choice of food and drinks. The price is bit expensive than other restaurants in jogja.

The food ok, and good local food. No need wait too long when you order it. Price also acceptable for this place
Simply Delicious. However, the interior design is very outdated, came from 1960-70s. Big car park. Allegedly, owned and founded by the Sultan’s distant relative. Mainly traditional fried chicken with crumbs. Recommended.
It is more tasteful as to compare from what it is available in Jakarta or other cities. Dunno why but the same crispy to the bones and licking good. Must try the Gudeg with sambal krecek. Love it !
My favorite. Great food especially for the ayam goreng, kremesan and the sambal. Standard price for traveller.
sambal not too hot but many ingredients make it taste good and has perfect balance of sweet and hot.. you can find rich Indonesian spice in the chicken...
Despite our tight schedule, we managed to squeeze time for lunch at Suharti's before flying back. This place was recommended by our guide, Thomas, as his favourite ayam Goreng place. So glad we actually made time to try this wonderful place! The chicken was super...tender and juicy, unlike the instant chickens you get from KFC. The chicken batter was probably the secret recipe which held Suharti in the game all these while. I have never tasted such a crispy yet crumbly texture from a chicken batter before! I believe the secret lies with mixing some egg white into the batter, but don't quote me on that, try it for yourself! Ambience was non pretentious, with a 3-men live band singing some old school English and local songs. In the afternoon. Highly recommended if you're in Yogya!More
The fried chicken with traditional Indonesian spice is the signature dish. Suitable for enjoying the food, not the environment, especially for business occasion.
Overall good taste of food and the price is in mid range category. Service is Ok, our food come not long after we ordered. It’s just that we have to pay extra for the Sambal that is a little bit weird for me.
Everyone in the town knows about this restaurant. The fried chicken is very tasty. The price is also reasonable. It was around IDR 100,000 for a whole chicken. Although the chicken was not that large, it was enough for 4 people. There was one bad...thing though. In my last visit, there were so many flies once the food arrived at our table.More
This restaurant is by far our number 1 eating place in Jogja! Had such joy eating the crispy fried chicken, also love the tempe cooked in Javanese style. We visited the same place twice during our stay in Jogja. 😋
famous chicken and the taste very delicious. you can try it with your friend or families. very crunchy.
It’s basically fried chicken at a restaurant and you get charged a high price for it Service isn’t good and they seem to have problems even communicating in simple Bahasa. Maybe they were just not interested to attend to the customers. Give this place a...miss - loads of local food which are cheaper and worth the buckMore
The signature dish is the fried chicken and it is excellent along with all the other Javanese delicacies.
This restaurant is legendary in Yogyakarta and indeed around Indonesia. It serves mainly tasty fried chicken accompanied by other additional traditional Javanese food. The chicken is crunchy, tasty, and a bit sweet. I like to drink its sugar-palm coconut juice. It's really refreshing. One notable...drawback of this restaurant which located at Gedong Kuning area, is its cleanliness. It really needs professional cleaning staffers to invite more customers. Overall rating is therefore 3/5. Taste plus cleanliness would give this restaurant a 5/5.More
