We visited this restaurant for the variety of its buffet style food, the friendly and very efficient service and for the low-low prices of all you can eat incl. tea or coffee at around US$10 plus tax & service after discount. After the re-opening several...months ago, as a family, we re-tried this place. Service is still friendly but now one cannot directly take food from the different food stations but have to ask staff to do so. One is also observed and policed about the wearing of face masks. There is far less choice as well and informal arrival is not possible, one has to reserve ahead. We will not be back as long as all those measures are in place, sorry.More

I chose this restaurant to celebrate my son’s birthday. The atomosphere was confortable and the food, both quality and taste, were excellent. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. I would suggest that the staffs to attend every guests equally, both locals and westeners as a...couple of westeners attended by more than two staffs while a group of locals with elderly ones struggling to get attention.More

We went to this restaurant to try their lunch. It’s year end holiday season. Hotels in Yogyakarta are full, and I’m sure this hotel too, judging from the overflow tables just right outside of the restaurant. Probably to accommodate thé breakfast. Lunch time, restaurant was...dead. When we went in, there was a table of a family of around 10 people. Other than that, it was empty. Anyway, we started with 2 glasses of white wine. 2 appetizers of prawn tempura and deep fried local calamari. 4 or 5 (?) Shrimps that is far from fresh with mixed of zucchini and eggplants. As main, we chose sate kambing and beef rendang quesadilla. What’s shocking was the beef rendang quesadilla. It was a rendang of galangal (Laos). Not a slice of beef in it. My husband almost broke his teeth when he took a bite. Come on , with a practically empty restaurant, the chef should’ve paid more attention to the food he served. He knew well when he scooped the rendang, that it was NOT beef. It was galangal! And yet, he still proceeded to send it to the table! Unacceptable!More
