Food was good but not great as I was lead to believe by other that have been there. Ribs sauce was overly sweet and the sides where just out of the jar type.

I ordered The pulled pork sandwich with fries. The pork no smoked meat taste at all. I asked about the lack of flavor and was told the pork was cooked in an oven! What a disappointment. Should have sent it back. I don't know if any of the meat is smoked, but the pulled pork certainly is not. Fries were... More
We were back in New Philadelphia and decided to try this restaurant instead of our usual choice, on the glowing recommendation of the desk clerk at our hotel. We were anticipating some tasty BBQ. It was indeed a very popular place but, based on this experience, I can't fathom why! We both ordered a pulled pork and rib combo with... More
We really enjoy the food here and have been back several times. It's an easy walk from the Holiday Inn Express and Suites on Bluebell. The only complaint about this latest visit is that we were seated right next to the register where wait staff put the orders through. All through dinner my husband heard the tap tap tap sounds... Not sure if they actually BBQ on site. I had the brisket and pulled pork and it was tasteless, no smoke flavor at all, the bbq beans seemed like canned. I sat at the bar and the bartender was ready to pass out from being sick, the other employees did not really care. Another waitress was on the phone (loudly)... More
Three of us were seated at the smallest table in the place. We had nachos with pulled pork which wasn't too bad. But the shrimp skewers were rubbery and I couldn't bare to eat them. My husband had the pulled pork and brisket and didn't care for it at all. Server was wonderful and very pleasant though!
Only ate here once but was impressed with the food. We had the BBQ brisket sandwich. It was on a fresh bakery style roll, good meat and BBQ sauce. We had coleslaw, potato salad, and fries . Everyone in our group liked the food. I saw another table had the nachos plate and it looked real good. It looked like... More
VERY busy because of the high school playoff game in town. 1/2 hour wait, but the hostess found us a table in the bar area and go waited on right away. Had the filet- done as ordered..maybe just a little more seasoning, but all in all very good!
For many years we have eaten and enjoyed evenings outside at this local favorite. We have met wonderful people during each visit. This last visit (Sat. Oct 22) we encountered a very rude server who was just getting off her shift. She sat behind us in the bar area at a high top with another server and her boyfriend. She... More
Pulled up and it was very crowded with a lot of motorcycles there also. There were only 2 of us so we were seated pretty quickly. The special of the day was the St. Louis Ribs 1/2 and full rack and they were billed as "Fall off the Bone". I ordered the 1/2 rack of Ribs and Beef Brisket Combo... More
