Great coffee and super cute building/ atmosphere!! Get the chilly turtle, you wont regret it! I wish we had more time to sit and try all of the coffees because their menu looked phenominal. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend. Small town bakery and coffee shop with a big selection of items. Ashley is a rock star! She always makes us fell welcome with her smile. Thanks Ashley!
Service is good, prices are great and food is great!!! They have a variety of sandwiches, meals, teas, coffee and desserts.
A nice little coffee shop in a nice part of New Philadelphia. The cappuccino is excellent, the ambience of the place is neat and the muffin was yummy.
While passing through New Philadelphia, OH, we wanted coffee and breakfast. We found this place using google and I am glad that we did. I chose a seasonal pumpkin coffee drink called " Grandmas Pumpkin Pie." It was extrememly tastey!!!! There were several breakfast items...to choose from. I chose eggs, bacon, cheese, and avocado on a cinnamon raisin bagel. See photo. Everything was delicious! The employees were friendly and cheerful. I will definitely stop here again. I was very satisfied.More
The food is always good, although slow, at times. The drinks are always good, especially the smoothies. It is a fun, hip atmosphere.
I visit the Daily Grind a couple times a month, on average. Typically I meet up with friends over a cup of coffee. I like the atmosphere. It's very eclectic and random, but that's what makes it unique. They have a nice variety of food...and drinks to choose from. This is a great place to have lunch. While it might not be the quickest service, the food is good and it's best to come here if you're not in a big hurry. Overall, would recommend this place as a great place for hanging out and talking.More
This is our "go to" spot for a meal...lunch or dinner. The food is delicious and the service is great. They have spoiled us against eating fast food.
You could bring in your I-Pad and hang for hours. Great little place. Good sandwiches and coffee. Service is VERY SLOW but worth the wait
1st review: My Dad took me here to get some coffee. While I didn't have coffee, the cake donut was marvelous! Daily Grind had lots of selections from desserts and coffee. There was plenty of seating too. This place is great! I will be back....Second review: Been back a few times since my visit. I had outstanding service from Abby the other month. She recommended a white mocha for my sweet tooth. That white mocha was delicious! This place also has a variety of scones my Dad and I like to get every now and then. They have cinnamon, blue berry and chocolate chip. All in all, I like this place a lot and will come back!More
For the area, a $8-$10 deli sandwich is a bit much. The food is usually pretty tasty though and it's a laid back environment. The muffins and cookies are pretty good as well as the coffee. The sandwiches can be hit or miss. It's a...nice alternative to Starbucks if you want a more local feel.More

Having traveled to many countries and states, this is the best coffee shop I've encountered. To be blunt, when in New Philadelphia, I drive past the chain coffee establishment on my way to the Daily Grind. For most people, coffee, tea, etc is more than...the beverage etc. It is about the social interaction, atmosphere...ambiance. In general, most people don't go to a fast food place for coffee even though it may be inexpensive, they go to somewhere for more than just a cup of whatever. Putting the bad up front, there isn't a lot of parking. Not the coffee shop's fault, it's just the way most smaller towns are. There is on-street parking for the shop. There are a lot of parking places along that side of the street, many spots across the street, and many within a minute or two's walk. Take the time and find a spot, it's worth it. With that out of the way, the excellent points. The products are outstanding, both the beverages and the food. Not being a beverage or food critic, my observations aren't in microscopic detail, but certain things stand out. The food is fresh. The meals whatever they may be are clearly fresh, they are not 'fast food'. The menu tends to lean healthier than fast food, but in a much more flavorful way. Feta, Asiago, red pepper, things you tend not to see in many establishments. If you need a burger fix though, they have it. There is also a window full of baked goods that compliments the coffee. The coffee (I'm a heathen who has never ordered normal tea anywhere, however if it is hot, try their fruity iced "jet" tea) tends to be a house blend and a few other options each day. Refills on regular coffee are free (although they have every latte etc one could imagine for which refills are not free. Just have the decadent Snickers and be done with it). The varietal is a good go-to to try new things, but simply ask to see when it was brewed as it might not always be as piping hot as the house blend as less people order it. If you're unsure, ask the staff for a recommendation. They actually engage with you and give you helpful suggestions that pay off. The ambiance of their cafe is mellowing. If you're having a bad day, it will soften the suck. It will make a good day better. The colors are vibrant and there's a home-town feel. It's a stark, pleasant contrast from mass produced chain facilities. A person can sit in the sun by the windows or if you've got a bit of vampire in you, the back portion of the facility is softly lit. There is free Wi-fi available. A variety of news papers are available for purchase. The bathrooms (I assume both, but have only visited one) are clean and decorated warmly as if in a house, not an institution. The site is located across from a bargain cinema with a long history in the community that plays the most recent releases. Overall it is a fun place with ties to the people of the town. All people easily mix, no matter the age, color, profession, passing through or local citizen. Quiet, up-beat, non-canned music plays while all people enjoy their drink or meal. The last and most meaningful plus to this coffee shop is the people. Almost without fail, the staff is warm and friendly. The ownership seems to have a good eye for talent as all I have encountered during multiple visits are intelligence, friendly people who actually engage with customers. By engage I mean they look you in the eye, listen, and seem to mean what they say while interacting. Frequently, staff having a good laugh with customers can be heard. It's a fun place. The people I perceive as being involved in the ownership seem to be in the trenches with their staff working hard daily. They are also very engaging and friendly while apparently performing all the tasks they expect of their staff. It's worth coming to New Philadelphia and putting your troubles on hold for a great experience.More
Great cup of coffee and good service and a nice place to network and hold small meetings. Tables of all shapes and sizes for that quant meeting space.
