Last night my wife and I celebrated a significant anniversary by having dinner at Cru Uncorked. The entire dining experience was nothing short of PERFECT - the food, wine, service and staff were superb! Michael was perfect as our server. Chris was very engaging as...we navigated the wine choices and selected the perfect French wine and Ports to accompany our meal / dessert choices. Cru is a very nice Country French restaurant. Driving up to the restuarnat youu would think you were in the countryside of France. The atmosphere is terrific which sets the staghe for a nice meal. The restaurant service is excellent. The bar area is charming...and an area I would go back to for another meal. Very clubby feel. The duckj main course was a bit disaapointing in that the sausage part of the entree was very dry and the duck breast shoulkd have some some crispness to it. By far the best enrtee was the briasewd shirt ribs. The steak Tartar and Foi Gras starters were great. The crem Brulle for desert was perfect for the end of the meal.Nice touch was Wednesdays is half price bottle of wine for those bottles listed at regular prive $100 and under.More

This is by far the classiest restaurant in the Cleveland area. stopped in after a long day and was able to sit at the bar without a reservation. Elizabeth the bartender and everyone else made me feel comfortable and at home. The conversations in the...bar area with other patrons was first class, engaging and well enjoyed. Best to make reservations, however you may get lucky if you want to sit at the bar. A perfect spot for anyone wanting to go someplace special. This is the place.More

Superb service, elegant atmosphere and delicious food. Four of us had different entrees and all were exquisite especially the lamb.

Excellent restaurant with a great menu with lots of options. Food is absolutely delicious and presentation is artistic. Excellent and friendly staff. Definitely a special occasion place, as it is pricey but well worth it.

We’re been for 3 dinners; match day, would have been wedding day, and graduation day... incredible every single time. This isn’t a cheap place. It’s affordable and you’ll pay for the experience and the exquisite food. Sometimes they run out of things but that’s our...interpretation of an *everything fresh* kind of place. We’ve done later dinners and most menu items have been wonderfully cooked and available. Cocktails are wildly delicious. If you can’t cook it/won’t cook it at home, I highly recommend ordering it here. Always order the soup du jour because it’s wildly delicious; doesn’t even matter the flavor. The chef is amazing! Every couple of weeks the menu changes and even for the constant things (halibut, octopus, and chocolate stone) the presentation changes. Just a really cool special occasion place and probably deserves some kind of Michelin star but for whatever reason has been overlooked. Don’t overlook this place. 3 surgeons and a nephrologist recommended this place as serving a “marriage saving meal” (🤣) and I took the recommendation... SO happy we went!!More

It's like dining in a French Countryside chateau. The ambiance is just beautiful with many fixtures, art, etc. from France. Our meal was outstanding-Halibut, Sea Bass, and Duck. The staff are so proud of the place and you can tell they genuinely like working there....No loud, intrusive music to compete with your conversation. This is what a dining experience is all about. Too bad most restaurants in our country just don't get it.More

If they would let me I would cut the bar off the building and attach it to my home. It is striking. Any food item I have ever ordered there has been a special experience.

Very nice atmosphere. Good service. Very expensive, and the food isn't quite worth the price. They're adding on to the patio and it looks like it'll be nice outside, when the weather improves.

My wife brought me here for a surprise birthday dinner. In all honesty, had not come here before due to reviews about high prices and the menu. Boy were we pleasantly surprised. Everyone was so attentive and welcoming, from the valet to the hostess to...the wait team and even the GM. wine list is impressive and extensive, especially French reds which we love. Food was top shelf, from the presentation to the subtle flavors. Prices were very reasonable for what you get, a real French country dinner with all the attendant service. We will be back. Shouldn’t have waited so long to come for the first time!More

We drove by this place for several years, but it looked too ostentatious, so we never tried it. Today we finally went there for dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Very good place. Cozy. Comfortable. Great staff and very good food. Not cheap, but affordable....I had grilled octopus and scallops, my wife - heirloom tomato salad and a burger. All tasty, great plate design and a French portion size, which we like. Just two tiny things: 1. Our mixed drinks were not mixed and 2. They ran out of their soup of the day - my favorite cream of mushroom. I do not think that the restaurant of that level should ran out of any item on the menu. Otherwise, we had a good dinner.More

Not too crowded and tables were not bumping into each other which was so wonderful on a Friday evening. Valet was easy and nice. The tortellini dish was skimpy and looked like an appetizer and not an entree. It was excellent but not enough for...an adult portion. Other portions were good. Beet salad was excellent. Charming and special.More
