First time at this site and I am pleased to say they are checking all the boxes . Italian cuisine (or pizza) has to be one of the most popular and available restaurants anywhere you go. Thus, it is a delight to find those places...that are doing it well. While there is an incredibly casual vibe here, they do pay attention to the the issues that can best define a well managed eatery. First off, the place is clean -- from the menus to utensils. The floor is not carpeted which, unless cleaned weekly, can become a petri dish of organisms and rotting food -- smart move. The glasses, dinnerware, and even napkins (paper, but high end) are well considered and spotless. The table covering, not linen (smart move again) is a synthetic; easily maintained and cleaned. Now on to the food. Having watched Food TV's "Restaurant Impossible," I have come to suspect restaurants with overextended menu selections. Truth be known, they can't handle it. Brick Oven selections are sensible and fill one page -- a sufficient selection of appetizers, entrees, salads, pastas, and pizza. And a couple of desserts. Same with the wines -- Affordable. We chose the house salad, baked bolognese, Veal parmesan, and the house salads. (Grated cheese is extra; not parmesan but okay.) Salads were sufficient and better than average with mixed greens, cuke, and the obligatory cherry tomato. (Might impress me next time with two tomatoes.) But the main dish is the star. Both pasta dishes were extraordinary and well priced (here's hoping they can control prices in this crazy world.) You can see from the photos that the portions (especially on the veal are generous.) Linguini was perfect (and I didn't even caution that I like it al dente -- they know how to cook pasta.) And before I forget --Everything is reputed to be made on site and I believe it. The bread and butters (whipped, one with garlic and parsley) are better than I have gotten in other high end places. Brick Oven is on target and more satisfying than any other Italina I have had in the Strongsville/Middleburg/Parma area. Thanks to staff John, Brittney, and Heidi for a spectacular experience. See ya soonMore

Our monthly visit to the Brick Oven was great again with great food and service. John and Stefanie are great servers. Despite a good crowd that evening we didn't have to wait long at all for our food.

Myself and a friend reside in the Parma area and have been to the Brick Oven for dinner at least 6 times over the past year. We are always pleased with their chicken parmesan and chicken prosciutto dinners as well as other specials throughout the...year (e.g., fish dinner during lent) Also, their wedding soup is exceptionally good along with chicken finger appetizers. John and Stefani are great waiters who always give us personal attention. We have not yet tried their pizza but cannot recommend this local restaurant highly enough. The best Italian food on the west side! -Rich and BevMore

$40 for overdone, underwhelming pizza and calamari. Not the same place as it was a few years ago. I won't be back.

An early business dinner for 5 recommended by a colleague brought us to The Brick Oven. Contemporary in design almost hidden in a strip mall. Very attractive menu options and fast service. I am very impressed and would visit again.

We have been here since they moved and renovated the restaurant. The renovation and updated interior were very appealing to the eye. As soon as entered we were pleasantly greeted with a smile by the hostess and seated. Our waitress, Dawnelle, came to greet us...and brought us water as we looked over the menu. She took our drink orders and came back promptly with them. We both ordered chicken Pomodoro, June asked if she have penne pasta rather than angel hair and Dawnnelle said they would do that. Our salad came with warm Italian bread, melt in your mouth. Both entrees came hot and very generous portions. They were very good, Dawnelle brought me crushed red peppers. My wife’s coffee cup was never empty as Dawnelle came around several times to fill it and our water glasses. She is really concerned about customer service and the type of person I would want as a waitress in my restaurant. We took a portion of our dinner home, the portions were that size. Glad we came for the food and the service by Dawnelle made is a great dinner. Ed and JuneMore

Bucci's Brick Oven is one of our favorite restaurants. We use it for special occasions, to impress visiting family and friends. We love the new remodel and the food is always delicious. Their pizzas are fresh, hand tossed dough that makes the pizza so good....Their fresh toppings and fabulous sausage take their pizza to the top! Everything else is excellent from the Chicken Pomodoro, Baked Scrod Milanese and Lasagna. Please don't forget the wedding soup and warm bread with dreamy garlic butter!More

It's just the Brick Oven now. Remodeled yet familiar. Great build a pizza and Italian treats. Wedding soup to make you want to get married. Or again. A good cross section of Italian dishes familiar to anyone who loves Italian. Service is great to match...the food. Plenty of parking. What's not to love?More

Last night 10/27/2018 we found out buccis was closing for remodeling. I called for reservations, not a word. Our waitress told us it was her last night. We have been loyal customers for many years, no heads up. We were planning on a family get...together, not happening. Why management didn’t post a notice on their website baffles me. Last nights meal was an effort to get rid of their extra food. The chicken piccata wasn’t edible. Very disappointed. Not sure we’ll be back.More

Kinda busy this summer and doing a lot of grilling. Decided we haven’t been to my fav old school Italian place. Made reservation and asked if the chef could prepare chicken francaise and they said if course. Why this isn’t on the menu is a...mystery to me. It was soooo good. Definitely my go to meal. My husband had his fav, chicken parm, loved it. Everyone is so friendly and do their best to make you happy. Luv our waitress dawnelle and of course the chef, Alex. A big thank you for another great meal.More

I belong to a church group that goes out for dinner each month and have done so for over 25 years. About a week ago, we went to Bucci's. There were 26 of us and we had a wonderful time. Bucci's staff were very welcoming....It is often hard handling a large group and we knew that it would take time to receive our food, but they made us very comfortable and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our drinks, appetizers and bread. When the meals arrived, they were all hot and delicious. We had a great time and will be back soon.More

Love their Pizza Margherita. It's New York style made in the brick oven. Make sure to ask for extra basil. The rest of the menu is the same as the other Bucci's. Prices seem a bit high given the interior could use a renovation as...it hasn't been touched since they opened twenty years ago. Service is very good.More
