My wife and I stopped here coming home from the Cleveland Hopkins airport on a Saturday . They open at 4pm on Saturday’s and seating on Saturday’s is first come first serve. We were the first of many to form a line waiting for them...to open. They were very busy by the time we left at 5:20. So the line confirms a good reputation and our dinner did too. We both had prime rib. This comes with one side and a salad. My wife also had the clam chowder. Everything was very good. We shared a bottle of J Lohr Merlot and this was good. All of this rang up at $110 before tip. So I think very good deal. Our server was very good (Maria). Atmosphere is nice.More

Decent portions to share a steak dinner just get an extra side! Bloody Marys are always a refresher for brunch!

Celebrated a birthday at your restaurant with my son and his family. The food once again was outstanding and the service was "with a smile". Laura has got to be one of the best on your wait staff. This is not the first time we...have been here and it certainly will not be the last. Still a fantastic place after all these years. ThomMore

My wife and I were sightseeing in the area and came across Timber Lodge online while looking for a dinner spot. We had never heard of this place, but the menu had what we were looking for and it happened to be a 15 minute...drive from where we were. Luckily for us, as it turned out. Ample parking and a relaxed atmosphere was what we noticed immediately. CDC safety guidelines were followed, so we felt safe dining inside. Laura, our server, brought a delicious sample of the lobster bisque after my wife expressed interest. Impressed, she ordered the bisque as her appetizer and later declared it the best she had ever had. I myself had the jumbo shrimp cocktail. The food that followed was nothing short of fantastic. I had a Caesar salad (fresh, tasty) and my wife had the wedge (HUGE - I had to help her, and was glad to do so). She had the chicken Marsala with green beans, and I had the tomahawk steak (on special that night, not a regular item)) with massive loaded baked potato and a side of fried onion strings (not rings). We've noticed a general decline in food and service quality in restaurants since the pandemic began to take its toll, but Timber Lodge seems to have avoided this. This steak was magnificent! Seasoned and seared perfectly, flavorful, it was exactly what I wanted. My wife loved her chicken Marsala but was getting full after the bisque and wedge. Abut half came home with us. Throughout the meal we were very much taken with the level of service. Laura was superb, but that seemed to be the norm for this place as everyone on the staff was moving with a purpose and all knew what they were doing. We live in Columbus and so are not close, but honestly the quality of this dining experience will prompt us for a return visit sooner rather than later. The staff is trained to Swiss watch precision, the food quality and ordering accuracy is letter-perfect, and judging from the faces and body language of our fellow diners, we are not alone in this assessment. We are happy to provide this positive review because these folks deserve the accolades.More

We went to this restaurant for my husbands birthday & had 11 people in the party celebration. The service was wonderful & so was the food that we had. Most of the people ordered Prime Rib which looked fantastic & I ordered some shrimp, wish...I had ordered a prime rib they have them in different sizes 11 oz & 14 oz & their baked potatoes are the biggest ones I have ever seen from a restaurant that served them they had loaded & others they were a meal in itself. This restaurant is OUTSTANDING & wonderful to eat at for dinner or even celebrating a special occasion.More

Been here plenty of times and usually a great experience however between the overly priced surf & turf, $70 per lb  slightly rubbery lobster tail, very grislely Delmonico (more indicative of an Outback steak), we are rethinking a return. We have yet had a bad...experience herebut this was a big o e and $$$More

My wife and I were at Timber Lodge Saturday for dinner. This is the first time each of us ordered the specials of the evening rather than a menu item. I enjoyed the pork shank and my wife had the halibut. Our dinners were absolutely...delicious and the service was outstanding. This by far is our favorite restaurant in town. If you have the opportunity to have Laura as your Server, I can assure you, your service will be impeccable!More

Knowing that Friday’s during fish fry season is busy anywhere. We planned our small 50th birthday for an earlier dinner (around 5:00-5:30). We brought our elderly Mother who has a very difficult time getting around. We were greeted very warmly and were given all the...help needed to get her seated comfortably (and our host made sure to be close to a bathroom- very thoughtful) Our server Anna took this to another level! - She was extremely knowledgeable about all of the menu and drink selections and was SUPER patient when we asked her to concoct our own “mocktail” (try the ginger beer, sprite and lime!!). The Fish fry with the the waffle batter was done perfect and lobster and crab were delicious. We know the cost on this wasn’t the cheapest, but when done correctly - absolutely worth it. A great experience starts with building a relationship with a server. Anna was a huge part of that and we enjoyed the evening to the fullest! Thank you Timber Lodge fora VERY memorable and special birthday evening with our Mom. Can’t wait to see you all againMore

Excellent, friendly staff. Relaxed, rustic atmosphere. Nicole, our server, was extremely attentive, but not at all pushy. Perhaps a little pricey, but dining at Timber Lodge well worth it. The place was packed and slammin' busy, so I figured it would be an hour wait,...just to be seated. Before the hostess ever left us, we were asked to turn around and escorted to our seats, a total of about 20 seconds! By the time I was halfway done with my cocktail, the appetizers had arrived. The main course arrived just before I finished my drink. The steak was very tender and cooked to perfection, not over-seasoned and didn't taste like marinade. King Crab legs were a healthy portion; plenty to share. Sadly, there was no room for desert, it had to be a carry-out: Orange Creamsickle Cheesecake. Original, and perfectly delicious! I must agree with TripAdvisor's assessment that they are #1 of 100 restaurants in Medina. WARNING: if you come here for dinner, bring an appetite!More
