Terrible service. Stopped in for a quick bite with friends at 4 pm on Sunday afternoon. Place 1/2 full. Ordered appetizers. 25 minutes later still no food. Waitress told us “this is not fast food”. Awful. Never going back

Outdoor seating, friendly waitress, spectacular food. These non chain places are the best places to visit. No complaints, just great on all aspects.

Oldest restaurant in Marietta. Don’t look for gourmet food here, but everything on the menu is tasty. Good beer selection and great service. We’ll be back.

We stopped here because my husband had a nostalgic craving for a fried bologna sandwich. He was happy. The rest of us had a variety of sandwiches and it was good. Service a bit slow when we were there as there was only 1 person...working on the floor.More

We were at the Brewery in Marietta and a man there said Harmar was a must go to, just to have the world famous bologna sandwich so off we went. He laughed and said it is on the other side of the tracks and he...was not lying. There is a walkway from one side of the river to the other. The staff was very friendly and the waitress was very knowledgeable about the different kind of beers they had. There are a ton of beer signs, (not for sale) but I think we was there for over an hour and didn't see them all. The bologna sandwich was a hit and we will go back next time we are down there.More

A few years ago, my aunt told me the story of how she & my late uncle "Drove all the way to Marietta for a bologna sandwich." So, when we were looking for a last minute weekend getaway, we drove all the way to Marietta...for a bologna sandwich! Turns out, it was worth the drive (nearly 2 hours). We even went back the next day & hubby got another bologna, while I got the Midnight Cuban. SO, SO GOOD! Since we weren't there at peak times, they were short staffed. The bartender was also waiting tables, both inside and out. Since we were outside on the patio, the service was a little slow for that reason. But the staff was friendly & doing all they could. We'll definitely be making future drives to Marietta for bologna sandwiches!More

Stopped here with two friends for lunch. The one said he had heard they have great burgers so we all had a burger. I wasn't impressed. Wasn't the biggest burger I've ever had. I guess the meat was tasty. Don't know about their other food?...Would go back in a pinch but not regularly.More

While touring through Marietta, I asked my group to recommend a casual, friendly restaurant, that I might enjoy. Although I rarely would choose a bar, I enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the service that I received. Items were inexpensive (especially during happy hour) and...my group had immediate attention from the waitress who was quick to notice almost empty glasses, dishes that were empty, etc. I ordered the original friend bologna sandwich and deep fried pickles and both were worth the trip. This will be my quick stop to eat while in town. The site had an outside eating area, a bar to sit at inside, and a second dining room which was relatively quiet. It was a place where you could move tables to make a large group sit at the same table, etc. I will be back!More

Their original fried bologna sandwich is my favorite thing to order. They have a reuben one as well that is really good! Prime Rib is delicious when it's offered. Not much I don't like on the menu!

Nice tavern atmosphere with great food and all around good service. They're also games available to play and an eating area separate from the bar.

I really don't know. I've been going there for at least 40 years. I'm sure it's older than that. Brenda V is from Marietta, so she's probably right.
