We were in Mansfield for a family wedding - five of us met up for dinner after a long day of travel, work, wedding prep and we were all really hungry. El Campestre was very close to our hotel and not a fast food chain so we decided to give it a try. The parking lot was full and the... More

This is my go to spot for Mexician food and margaritas. The place is great I never had a bad meal here everyone is very friendly and fun. I usually go once a month or more chips and salsa made fresh daily.

Typically I visit Mansfield a couple times a year. One of the things on my to do list here is to eat at El Campestre. Due to my dietary restrictions, I usually opt for chicken fajitas, no butter or cheese. I have found the food excellent, the service good, the prices fair and the people friendly here. This visit was... More

The food is OK for a typical Mexican restaurant. Drinks were good. We pulled into the lot expecting to wait because it was packed. But no wait once inside found that there was ample seating. Waiter was very nice. Food was OK. Only thing I suggest is maybe more shrimp less onions green peppers with fajitas. Wow I had maybe... More

This is a great place for Mexican food. The chips and sala was delicious. The serving sizes are huge. I went with some old friends. It was a great place to socialize and eat!

Very disappointed. Food can out cold, margarita was not frozen and little portions. Waiter took our order and gave us our bill and that was it. Will never go back. DONE. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I've traveled all over the United states & I think this is the best Mexican restaurant out there. The service is great & the food comes out so fast. Huge huge portions. I've gotten 3 meals from a $10 dinner. Margaritas are good too. Don't miss this place. It's always packed so it has to be good!

huge portions, but average food, service was very good. Hoped for more, but ended up being a very average place to eat.

Eat but don't drink. Sat at bar. No bartender. Terrible service. Cheap eats but the drinks are outrageous. $6.75 for a shot of Cuervo gold! Since the check was hand written I suspect they made up a price. Real shysters here.

First of all, the picture listed on this review is of another decent Mexican restaurant in town, - El Campesino, off of I-71 exit 169. El Campestre is larger and a notch better in my book. Very diverse menu with lots of options for food and drink. Always crowded when I have been here, so you know the locals frequent... More
