We visited for dinner on a Friday evening. We expected the place to be busy based on reviews we read. It should have been a warning to us that there were only three other parties there. On the positive side, there were two servers, so...at least service should have been good. Instead, service was terrible. Food came out warm at best (I am sure it was hot at some point in time, but probably sat waiting to be picked up for too long). Orders were incorrect. Utensils showed up 20 minutes after the food - and only after we asked for them repeatedly. I cannot imagine what this place would like if they were really busy. The food was decent. I am confident it would have been even better is served promptly. Unfortunately, the service was bad enough to convince us not to return.More
Came here after a hike in the beautiful Hocking Hills. Ultimately the food tasted good BUT.... we were starving and came in just a little before 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Took over 40 minutes for sandwiches and the service was terrible!
This brick oven pizza was delicious. This restaurant is so much more than a pizza place. It is beautiful and has a high end feel but very reasonable prices. Our waitress was very helpful with appetizer suggestions and with the local craft beer choices. I...will definitely dine here again on our next trip.More
A unique place in downtown Logan. Utopia has 3 seating areas; a bar/restaurant area, an unique dining area, and a very unique cozy outdoor area. Ambiance in ways similar to the Kahiki of past Columbus. Its not anything like the Kahiki of course, but you...can find a cozy corner to sit in and listen to falling water. Walk around the outdoor area and smell the fresh basil, mint, and other herbs growing that they use in their foods and drinks.
Good selection of beers, we had Terrapin IPAs. Ordered a brick oven pizza and a house salad with house vinaigrette dressing. Pizza good, I like to describe what a pizza is NOT; not burned crust, cheese not a greasy sloppy mess, crust not a thick wad of dough. Pizza had higher quality medium thickness crust, right amount good sauce and cheese, and good pepperoni. Salad was a mix of artisan lettuce, red onion, with other salad standards. House dressing very good.
Matt the server was attentive and good conversation.
No complaints and recommend Utopia when you visit the Hocking Hills area.More
WOW! The best service I have had in years!! Even the chef stopped by our table to see how we enjoyed our dinner. It's casual, friendly, tasty and comfortable. We ate outside and enjoyed some local talent too. We had the parm garlic wings that...were cooked perfectly. We opted for the Devil's bathtub pizza as it's one of their specialty pizzas and I can see why. It was very flavorful. Overall a great place to eat if you are in the Hocking Hills area - we'll definitely go back.More
Menu has shifted over the last few years, but the items which are served are always freshly made, of good quality and tasty. Has an old world dining, outdoor dining, and other dining venues within the same structure. Have always enjoyed going there and will...continue to do so. Servers always try to be cordial to customers and are efficient.More
