My daughters and I have previously stopped by the Village Ice Cream Parlor for a special ice cream treat and every time I wished we would have come at a meal time because it always smelled so good!!! Finally, we made it a point to go for lunch. The food did not disappoint!!! I had a cheeseburger and fries which... More

This is a great place to stop for some ice cream. I tried the peppermint - I figured since it was December, it would be fun to try something that was holiday flavored. It was so good. My husband loved the Egg Nog flavored ice cream. It's a cute place to visit!

With wonderful history and having been in a movie, The village ice cream parlor is full of history and great times with the family, you'll find some high school locals hanging out their but its great either way! May I recommend MILK SHAKE by the way!

Excellent hamburgers. Real neat eating there, especially since the restaurant was in the movie Harper Valley PTA.

Right in the heart of town this has been in existence since the early 1800's as several different businesses. Their is a historical marker outside offering the history and past ownership. This has the ice cream but also offers lunches and dinners and a very nice alternative to sit and relax while doing your day of shopping.

We have visited the Village Ice Cream Parlor several times in the past, and we stopped today for a small snack and drink. We were so impressed by the friendliness of the staff, and it was refreshing to note that the workers, though young, did not spend their time staring at cell phones and texting. It was obvious that they... More

Such a cute old fashion ice cream shop. Looks like an old sofa fountain. Service was good & fast. Ice cream was really good with great variety. We loved the atmosphere & the ice cream. We will be back!!

Fortunately, cookie cutter chain restaurants have not totally smothered America's personality. This spot is an an example. Most of the reviews appear spot on about this quaint parlor. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was fairly crowded. Everything was delightful as you would expect. However, our portions of ice cream were ridiculously small for what we paid.... More

The food is respectable. I frankly would eat here more often if they would invest in some chairs. The current chairs are tiny and have a slant that makes you feel as if you're going to fall out. Surely there are old -fashioned chairs out there (in keeping with the look of the parlor) that a person could actually sit... More
