It was quite a while ago but I remember we all enjoyed everything about our experience. There are less expensive places in the area, but I will go back again when in Lancaster.

Attending a family reunion from out of town, Shaw's was a perfect place for our get together dinner on Friday night. Ample parking nearby was the first plus. Secondly the hospitality shown by the hostess and servers was another plus. Our group of approx 20 people enjoyed getting together and all of the various entrees (including the lobsters) and starters.... More
We use to go to Shaws often 10-15 years ago. It seem to have gone down hill so we stopped going, stay with me here! Well my husbands birthday was coming up and he wanted prime rib. I looked up restaurants in Columbus, no way was I paying over $30 for prime rib and with a group of 6 I... More
Food is definitely good with a wide selection. I've not been for breakfast or lunch but dinner has always been good service, great drinks (especially their Cosmos) and good food. Don't hesitate to ask for the cinnamon rolls that used to come before the meal but now are to take home by request. Deeeelish!
we've been here a number of times, and always enjoy the atmosphere, and the food... I usually get the Applewood smoked "extra" cut pork chop, but this time I got the cordon bleu dinner....alice had her usual seafood entrée..... had a few drinks with a friend who was with us before our meal. they have a very good selection of... My husband and I were there the first part of May for a business meeting with another business person. We each ordered something different, the food was delicious and the service was great. My only complaint is that there was too much "service". The server interupted our conversation too many times.
Every time I go to Shaws, I am hopeful that we see improvement and are always disappointed. Their food is inconsistent, service us very slow and they exude an attitude that since there are few nice restaurants in our town, that they really don't care about customer service
Visiting this restaurant on a Sunday evening, I selected the fried chicken special. A bit over cooked I was a little disappointed but the quantities were plentiful. The table was treated to delicious cinnamon Danishes. The menu offers a wide variety of some creative and healthy choices I wish I had selected as my fellow dining partners enjoyed. Try something... been several times. The most recent was in December when 10 girlfriends got together there for a dinner. Server was great! It's not easy to accommodate 10 women all with separate checks, but the server did it with a smile. Food also was excellent, as it always is. Very nice place for a meal and worth the little bit of...
