These grilled cheese sandwiches aren't your momma's basic sammies. They have many options to choose from as well as awesome monthly specials. They also serve mead! I haven't come across many places that do! I'd definitely recommend trying it! The portions are huge. Even getting just a half of a sandwich, I still usually have leftovers.

Brought my sister here for a birthday dinner. She had never been and I always rave about how great it is. So we rolled in, waited about 20 minutes for a table. Were seated by the bar. We started with a couple of Island Mules, delicious. That was one of the best drinks I've had in a while. For dinner... More

We stopped in from out of town after finding this on my TV food maps app. I had seen that this had been visited by Diners Drive in's and Dive's, Man Vs Food, & The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Being from out of town, we normally like to find a locally famous restaurant and avoid the chains. We were... More

Tried to stop by for lunch twice in the past 3-weeks. Tall, black haired women/hostess says "it'll be a least an hour wait" in her snotty toned voice. There was no one waiting and at least 4-5 empty tables, we left and went to Panera. We went back to Melt today, even called our order in 30 minutes in advance.(1/2... More

The sandwiches are large.....partially due to the thick bread used. There was quite a wait to get a table. We were crammed into a corner by the kitchen. We dodged traffic in and out of the kitchen all night. Service was slow due to the server doubling as a bartender. Food was ok but nothing to write home about.

We had a wait ( ...on a Friday nite, 6 pm...Why did I do that???...lol..) But were expertly and efficiently taken care of in the bar area...shared an appetizer with two TOTAL STRANGERS that were waiting also. Wound up joining them and we had a wonderful time! Their kitchen was running like clockwork!! My Fish Grilled Cheese was out of... More

My first trip to Melt and definitely not my last! AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! Best sandwiches ever! I definitely recommend the Lake Erie Monster and the Smokey Russian! I also enjoyed the fantastic, plentiful beer choices! The decor was a fun through back to Cleveland and other era's! Fantastic experience!

What can I say? There is a reason the Parmageddon was voted best sandwich, it is The Best Sandwich, hands down. I've tried their challenge sandwich as well and think I gained ten pounds trying to devour it. Their sandwiches are awesome. Can't wait to go in and try another of their grilled cheese sandwiches.

Who takes an excellent grilled cheese and then goes way overboard? Melt, that's who! Start with thick French bread and a ton of cheese and add your choice of stuffings. It's not really toppings, because they are stuffed inside your grilled cheese. So I call them stuffings. How about lasagna? Or Korean pulled pork with kimchi? Or General Tsao's chicken?... More
