Pier W has always been a favorite of ours for very special occasions. The food for dinner or the Sunday buffet will not disappoint and the view of Lake Erie is awesome. Last night we had the crab cakes, Oysters Rockefeller, Surf and Turf, the halibut, and split a cheesecake. The service was also good. We loved the food, the... More

I love Pier W. The views cannot be beat. The restaurant sits on a cliff looking over Lake Erie with a view of Cleveland's skyline to the east. Especially on a beautiful day, it cannot be beat. Finding Pier W can be a little difficult as it is in the same parking lot as two apartment towers. Watch close at... More

Stopped at the bar for happy hour. Had a glass of wine and then, apparently, I became invisible. Bartender walked by me repeatedly until I finally gave up. I passed on the half price bar food because I had a late lunch and was thinking about dinner. Leaving now to eat somewhere else. Had never had a bad experience here...til... More

I grew up in Lakewood. I knew about Pier W, but the family never ate there. So, it took a trip back to Lakewood and perusal of TripAdvisor for my wife to say, "Hey, this restaurant gets good reviews. Have you ever heard of Pier W? Let's eat there!" before I did. We made reservations for an early dinner and... More

Amazing views, amazing food, amazing service. It is a little pricey, but worth every penny! We celebrated our anniversary here in the summer.

A rude, condescending, young waitress at happy hour.A mgr.that is ruder still, arguing with an elderly customer and refusing to honor a 15 per cent discount. The boorish mgr.continued to fight with my companion by repeating,"I'm not going to argue with you!"He then proceeded to continue to fight with her! Whatever happened to the old axiom"The customer is always right!" Just a wild... More

We dined here for our anniversary. The good is really good and the atmosphere is even better. The service was good and they make you feel special if you are celebrating a special occasion. It's not somewhere most will go on regular basis, but for a special occasion, it has no peers. We enjoyed it a lot.

The views from the open-air upper deck and restaurant below are amazing, even on a drizzly night. The city skyline is amazing, if the the weather is favorable for an elegant evening sunset you have one of the best seats at this restaurant. Many people have created a memory here under the sun and stars. But sadly, that is where... More

I am completely appalled at how awful the service was at happy hour. Three friends and I visited on a Friday evening around 5pm to have a few drinks. When we entered the restaurant, there was a line of at least 20 people waiting to be seated at the bar. Being a perfect weather night, we chose to sit on... More

Description
Pier W, a landmark Cleveland restaurant, has been serving a critically acclaimed seafood and contemporary menu since May 11, 1965. Having recently undergone a $3 million interior renovation, the new Pier W resembles a sophisticated luxury liner cantilevered over Lake Erie offering dramatic views of both the Lake and the downtown Cleveland skyline.

We would like to request that shorts, flip flops and baseball caps are not worn to the restaurant.
