I love supporting small local businesses but can't understand the high ratings here. It's not horrible but for the cost just would not return. Both of us got the 10 oz char grilled prime rib, medium rare $15+. Husband got salad and mashed potatoes. He thought the potatoes were real not packaged. His sides were OK. I got "wedding soup"... A very down home food type place, a great variety of comfort foods that will please all family members, good prices and the stuffed cabbage soup was out of his world. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

This is a favorite place for locals, which is always a good sign. This was a lunch stop from Lansing, Michigan to Rochester, New York. The place is large and clean. The menu has many comfort food favorites. The burgers are big and juicy, the corned beef was homemade and excellent. The fries were very good, too. Drinks were refilled.... More

Home made food at its best. Stopped in Fathers Day and had a great meal with excellent service. Just wish we had more room because their deserts smelled and looked delicious as well.

Stopped here for breakfast after staying at the Dav-Ed Motel just down the road. It's small but very nice inside. Have home-baked goods. Waitress was very welcoming. Food was great. Will definitely keep this in our "goto" places for travel.

Very good food. Well made HOME cooking. Fresh, hot meal that will stick with you. Home made pastries and pies.

My family and I stopped here last night based on reviews and we were very disappointed. The fried mushrooms were perhaps the best I've ever had, but the good review stops there. My fries were soggy and saturated in grease, they were clumped together and the sides that were touching on the clump were still white. It was like they... More

While on my roadtrips, I avoid fast food chains for local restaurant. Kay's Place was a good choice. Friendly staff.

On a family road trip and found yummy place off the highway. Food was amazing and the staff made you feel so welcome. We all got Veal and Chicken Parm and it rivaled any five star Italian food place. Samantha our server was so friendly and gave us spot on service! Would recommend this place to anyone. They also have... More
