The Franklin Square Deli has, hands down, the best Cuban sandwich I have ever had. I lived in Florida for 10 years and never had one as good as theirs. A must have when you go to this deli.

I've been coming to FSD for a couple of decades now. That alone tells you what I think of it! Their food is always fresh and delicious. My two "go to" sandwiches are the Motor City Bagel (but I prefer horseradish sauce over the honey...mustard) and the AWESOME "Little Italy". Trust me on this one. Throw in a bag of chips and you'll be in deli heaven. Oh, and any sandwich that has their corned beef is awesome. FSD...you cannot go wrong!More

I'm a soup man, and they usually have two or three varieties a day, which is great. The heating of that soup in a styrofoam cup in the microwave, is not great. If I am paying significantly more than a cup-of-noodles for soup, I'd prefer...for it not the be prepared like a cup-of-noodles. Aside from that, the soups are usually good. The sandwiches are decent, but overpriced. Kind of crazy what people think they can charge for cheap bread and deli meat, but that's the way it is these days I guess. If you're craving soup and sandwich and don't care about styrofoam or price, then this place is OK.More

Had a reuben and it was good. It only had a pickle with it. I felt it should have had a side for $9.00. The meat was good quality. It was average size bread rye bread as you can see in photo. You order your...meal and sit down. Not a large place.More

There's something for everyone at the deli. I have eaten here once every couple of weeks for several years. I have tried specials and just about every item on the menu. Never had a meal I didn't like. The only caveat is the "boss" is...rather particular. If you change anything about his offerings, he becomes apparently offended. As a customer, one should not be made to feel obligated to eat what the proprietor thinks you should. Also, I recognize that banks can eat into the profits by using credit cards. However, very few people carry cash and the owner is sacrificing future business by scowling at patrons who choose to use credit cards. If it's that much of an inconvenience he should increase the price of his offerings accordingly.More

I have had lunch here 4 or 5 times now. Excellent sandwiches every single time. Their cuban is a little different than any other cuban I have had before, but better. The southern style pulled pork (special on Thursday) should be a regular menu item...it’s so good. The taste of italy combines marinara with capocolla in such a tasty way (this one probably surprised me the most - it was so good). Best lunch in Kent.More

There are two good sandwich places in Kent and this one has the advantage of serving excellent soup as well, making it an excellent stop for lunch or a light dinner. Located in the center of Kent it is convenient (street parking however) but a...nice selection of sandwiches -- nothing weird or exotic -- and well made and hot soups. A little pricey but still reasonable. A limited number of tables but soup and sandwiches are there for take-out.More

This place is great. Good food, decent prices, friendly competent service. There's a reason it's been there for some 40 years.

My book club has net here a number of times. Great place, great service, food is really good. The ambiance is relaxing and really open to groups or smaller gatherings. I’ve also been there with my husband and had a nice time.
