Never again, ever! This place is dusty and old looking on the inside. The food was very blah and expensive for what you get. Don't go

I grew up eating German food, as my mama was from Germany. While the food I had at this restaurant was good, it was not my mamas. I had the schnitzel with spaetzle which had a good flavor but I think the schnitzel was a bit on the thick side. The spaetzle was right on and yummy. We had sauerkraut... More

Visited tonight for Mother's Day. My wife's first time. She was very pleased with the meal and so was I. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. The place is outdated but the steaks were great. Cash only. The prices are not bad at all for the size of the steaks you get. Waitress was excellent and she did a great job.... More

Saturday, April 23, 2016 my wife, daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter and myself arrived at opening, 4:00 pm. We were the first to enter the restaurant. We were seated promptly, ordered drinks and we left the restaurant with full bellies and doggy bags after an hour and 20 minutes. I had the prime rib, again. It was perfect, again. My daughter had... If you are a carnivore, this is the place for you! Gigantic portions of steak and prime rib and chicken cordon bleu the size of a football! My order of prime rib and a side (try the white French dressing on your salad) is enough for me to have 3 more meals from plus a nice big bone for the... More

My wife and I went to Henry's for our anniversary. I have been going to Henry's since it was in Akron, probably 35 to 40 years. It has always been one of my favorite places and I almost always get the same thing, the porterhouse steak. Unfortunately this trip was quite different. My wife had the prime rib. The flavor... Henry Wahner's has the best prime rib I've ever had in my life. A single prime rib dinner feeds, myself, my 300 pound best friend, and my 100 pound dog. Two sisters who immigrated from Germany as kids make this restaurant exceptional with both German and American entrees. The decor is from the 1960's, which makes me feel like I'm... More

We had dinner at Henry Wagner's -they have great prime rib, steaks & German food. Not a fancy place & fairly pricey but the portions are enough for a meal to take home. I had prime rib - came with choice of salad & potato which was $28, my husband's strip steak came with the same options & was the... More

I have gone here for years. I almost always get the prime rib. I've traveled coast to coast and never had a better rib anywhere. My only complaint is once they served me a reheated rib from the night before.

Let me premise my review by saying I used to really enjoy eating the steaks and prime rib at Henry's, in fact I used to brag about the prime rib to my friends. Finally one night my wife and I planned a nice dinner with 3 other couples on a Saturday night. The restaurant was busy and we went into... More
