This Chinese/Thai local spot has had a refresh. All the regular choices are on the menu. But the food is tastier, vegetables crisp and not overdone. We had to wait a few minutes as they are heavily into takeout. We left happy and with leftovers tomorrow’s lunch.

Restaurant is quaint and employees are very friendly and very attentive. Food prices are ok but not great. They claim to be a Chinese and Thai restaurant but on their lunch menu they only have two Thai dishes. I've tried both and they are ok but not good Thai flavors. I haven't tried the Chinese dishes yet and hopefully they are better than their Thai dishes.

We have ordered take out from here so I cannot review the service while dining in. The take out service was excellent though. When I placed my order via phone the woman who took my information was friendly and willing to take time to answer my questions. My payment was processed quickly and she was very appreciative of my business. When I went to pick up my order on my second visit, she informed me right away that my order would be a few minutes. When everything was packed up, she added some free donuts and a Chinese calendar.
Our first order was Egg Drop Soup, Crab Rangoon, Sesame Beef, General Tso's Chicken, Shrimp Cashew. We got some orders w/steamed rice and some with fried.
The Egg Drop Soup was thick, rich, and very flavorful. The Crab Rangoon was some of the best I have ever tasted. Lots of crab flavor. The Sesame Beef came with two broccoli spears. It was a great flavor. The General Tso's also came with two broccoli spears and had a nice bite to it. Not too spicy, not too mild. Perfect for me. The breading was very light and the chicken was moist. The Shrimp Cashew was some of the best I have had. Generous portion of shrimp, vegetables that remained slightly crisp, and a nice honey ginger type sauce. Both rices were perfectly cooked.
Our second order consisted of Egg Drop Soup and Crab Ragoon again. (We loved them that much.) Our entrees were Beef Chow Mein, Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, and Orange Chicken. The Beef Chow Mein was really good. Very flavorful. Lots of veggies and beef. The Shrimp with Lobster Sauce was not as thick as some restaurants may serve. It was almost a soup. I poured it over white rice. Delicious. The Orange Chicken generally comes with two broccoli spears. I asked for extra broccoli and they complied. Nice flavor. Perfect bite of spice. Light breading and generous pieces.
We really enjoyed this restaurant and will definitely go again. The only downside is I wished some of the dishes had more veggies, but they are willing to add more if you ask. I wish more rice came with the dishes. We ran out of rice before we finished the entrees.
The restaurant itself is in a little strip mall and doesn't have much ambiance, but it is clean and servicable.

We ordered a variety of dishes for takeout. All of the food was excellent and the service was, too! I highly recommend this restaurant!

I have been going here with my family for pretty much my entire life. It’s my favorite Chinese restaurant EVER! And you really can’t beat their lunch menu prices. The staff is always great and you will leave with lots of yummy leftovers.
I’m hungry for crab Rangoon now!

I use to eat there 2-3 times a week. Love their Hot & Sour soup. Been to several Chinese spots an nothing comes close to competing with the Grand China. I most always get the Cashew Chicken but everything else got is very good. Don't live in the area now so don't get there as often as I would like

I’ve been ordering take out from what we call “the 10 minute restaurant” for well over 10 years. We call it “the 10 minute restaurant” because you could order freshly killed broiled rhinoceros and they’d say without batting an eye, “OK 10 minutes”. The dishes have always been hot and flavorful!
Today I ordered the Pad Thai. The normal hostess (Mom?) wasn’t there. The Thai was a bowl ½ full of white rice, ½ of rice noodles. A few lengths of grated carrots. 3(!) shrimp. That’s it. No crushed peanuts. No greens. Nada. No points for flavor for what was there either. If the owners are turning it over to the kids, they’re not ready!
Go! Try! They’ve been reliable for years!

When we're in the mood for Chinese food at a reasonable price, we go to Grand China. The food is good, the prices reasonable, service is quick, and the portions are large. Typically we eat in. There is nothing fancy about the interior and the wait staff is quick to refill drinks and check with you. On this occasion we ordered 'to go' and our meal was ready right when they said it would be ready.

My family has visited Grand China for years although recently we noticed a decline in the quality of the food. During a recent visit the owner ran my credit card through her POS machine and she indicated that the transaction was not complete. I looked at the receipt and it provided a transaction number and stated approved. The owner wanted to run the transaction against another card. I asked for her to cancel the previous transaction and she refused. I called my CC company and they told her that the transaction went through and was approved. The owner still did not seems satisfied and all of this drama over a $30 bill. Very poor customer service. We won't be back.

Always tasty food. Cheap prices and always good food. We get different things. Chicken fried rice, happy family, chicken Lo mein, crab Rangoon and egg rolls always good. We have gone here for years always good. We get carry out and get the hot doughnuts. Family owned nice people!

Ordered the Happy Family and it was watery and had no flavor. I ordered fried rice but it was just white rice with soy sauce poured on top. There is much better options in Hilliard than this place.
