We had a very pleasant morning coffee with the most sensational muffins. The service was some of the friendliest I've ever experienced. Free local kiwi fruit to take home made it even better! 10/10 not to be missed!

After climbing the Nut, we visited the Touchwood for a cuppa and cake. The service was so cheery, the coffee excellent and they had a nice selection of gluten free cake options (rare to have a choice). Highly recommended for a coffee step (and I'd guess it would be good for other meals too)

Visited Touchwood Café twice recently, morning tea on a cool morning - we had the scones with jam and cream. Absolutely beautiful scones, as were the coffees. Visited another time for afternoon tea. Again the food and coffee absolutely spot on. The café has a great ambience and wonderful outlook to the ocean. The staff are excellent. Will certainly return.

Great place for lunch and coffee. Staff were very friendly and service was quick. We were seated looking out over the township and the bay, a great spot. It is attached to a shop selling great gifts and crafts, some made locally, and all good quality. Recommend

Good menu, good service and not expensive. Have been there on a couple of occasions for both lunch and afternoon tea. Also serve evening meals on selected days during the summer. Cafe not open Mondays and Tuesdays but well worth a visit.

We made a beeline for this cafe because it was sensational last time. It was even better this visit! A fantastic menu, beautifully prepared and served by friendly ladies. Can't beat this cafe.

My wife and I had arrived at Touchwood cottages and after settling in made the 30 second walk to the adjacent Touchwood Cafe. ( What an absolute bonus when you are in very good accommodation to have an excellent cafe on your doorstep ) We visited mid afternoon first day so were really only looking for a coffee, that was... Maybe it was partly because I had just trekked up, round and down the Nut, but I had a thoroughly satisfying morning tea at Touchwood Cafe yesterday. Think fresh homemade scones with plenty of proper cream and tart raspberry jam, a beautiful strong coffee and a view of the ocean from the cosy enclosed dining area. I also took away... More
