Stumbled upon the place on our way to Port Arthur. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the Tuscan Chicken. The rest of the group chose soups, and all said they were tasty. Definitely recommended.

This hotel is known for it's Parma's and has a large range to choose from as well as other popular dishes. Staff are friendly and efficient but prices a little dear for a pub.

We waited nearly one hour for our meal, I ordered a "warm chicken salad " The chicken came cold and hard. It looked as if it had been sitting there for a while. My husband ordered fish of the day" with his chips and salad. The fish was Trevalla,($39) the batter was soft instead of crispy . Grossly overpriced. There... More

4 of us have been regulars over the years. Generous servings and nicely plated. Entrees were great and so were 3 of the mains. Unfortunately one of the mains was a steak ordered medium-rare. First one was much closer to well done, so it went back. After a reasonable wait a second steak was delivered. By this stage the diner... More

Arrived there by chance and were pleasantly surprised at the meal that was served. I had the chicken pieces with mustard sauce (entrée) and my partner had the savoury seafood crepe. Both were delicious for the money and probably would go back and try there mains they looked good at the next table.

Six of us went to Pembroke Hotel for lunch and were surprised to find it so busy. We found a table near the window and ordered our meals - chicken burgers, scallops, calamari and chicken fillet. Although it was busy, we were disappointed to wait 50 minutes for our meal but when they arrived we were impressed! Tasty meals and... More

Have been here twice in my life and the eye fillet has been the best steak I have had in the world. Pepper sauce also perfect. Prices unbelievable for the quality at $32 for a 350 gram steak. Love it. Will be back next time in Tassie!

Whilst we were sitting there quite a few people walked in, looked at the menu and then walked out. I think that really the meals are way over priced for an average pub sorry. The staff were lovely and friendly, the pub has a good location and the meals were nice, scallops for $37 for lunch, too much.
