The restaurant is part of the cafe in the visitors centre. We really enjoyed our meals thankyou. The menu included a kids menu. I had the oysters for entree and the seafood pasta for main. Fish was very fresh and tasty. Not really a cheap eat, but still good. Service was very good.

Despite the many good reviews this is not really worth the money. It was just an average meal for any other capital city. Really don't understand how this amazing tourist spot has such average restaurants. meh.

We did this as part of the ghost tour. Dinner was lovely. They happily modified meals to cater for dietary requirements. Service staff were also wonderful. Highly recommended.

First off, the food is very very good, no complaints at all. Service is ordinary, but liveable -EG: slow, no water offered, (other tables were). But the biggest issue is with the venue. Felons is the cafe by day, partitioned off by night. Sit on cafe style chairs with the stuffing falling out underneath. You will be able to watch... More

We visited here at night before the Ghost Tour of the historic site. The food was OK, rather average but served by friendly and welcoming local staff.

Yeah so it's the Port Arthur historical site cafe, but the food is really good and not too pricey. We ate there two days in a row. Burgers were a stand out. Staff were delightful. And the white chocolate macadamia cheese cake before the ghost tour OMG. It's clean. Pleasant to dine. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Booked here for dinner hoping for a better experience than the previous night when we ate at the Fox and Hounds. The restaurant is situated on the top floor near the entrance. It is basically at the back half of what is the cafe during the day. Diners and cafe patrons are separated by a moveable wall. The service was... More

We tried to have early dinner here arriving at 5.30 without reservation restaurant had 6 people dinning, so open for business but apparently book out. Would not even offer us a table with restricted time limit. Disappointed but we luckily moved on to somewhere much more accommodating with grest food and service and were done by 6.30 !!!

Luckily we booked for dinner as this place was booked out the night before. We ordered the lamb rump and the venison both meals were of very high standard and were thoroughly enjoyed we would definitely go back if in the area

The food was really good, but you'll need patience, as the service and, well, the chef is very slow. We had trouble finding the restaurant above the back of the visitors center behind the main cafeteria. It would be very helpful if there were signs!
