This restaurant did not exist the last time we visited Port Arthur but what a brilliant find it was! A very good menu, good wine list, fine meal and impeccable service from the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff when asked a question and they ensured the answer was understood. Prices were also reasonable making sure we... More

We arrived to Port Arthur late (for PA, after dark) and there were not many options available. We tried here and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is in the visitor centre and easy to find. We didn't have booking but I expect it is busy in peak times. Food was very good and family friendly.

We arrived without a booking (bookings are recommended but no mention of essential) to be told that despite the restaurant being half empty we could not get a meal. I pressed and was told adamantly that no, no meal. I asked another waiter if we could order in the restaurant and eat in the adjacent bistrot? (there's a glass screen... More

We took the Ghost Tour package for a spooky look at Port Arthur . This included a two course dinner at Felons Bistro . From the moment we sat down , we were treated with the care and consideration that only a seasoned waiter can provide . The food was wonderful . The chowder was full of flavour , the... More

Great food and wine and attentive service. The seats near the fire are perfect for a chilly day. We ate here in the evening as part of the Ghost Tour package which I'd highly recommend.

This is a Cafe by day and restaurant by night so don't expect a fine dining experience. I ordered a 300gm steak with duck fat potatoes (it was only one potato in total) and it was $36. Good steak but definitely not worth the price. My partner ordered the scotch fillet and it was good but again overpriced. Service is... More

the service for a start was not fantastic but got better once we changed waiters. The food was ok but not great. Could probably find somewhere better to go overall. there is no atmosphere either. Not real good value.

Before the Ghost Tour of Port Arthur historic site, my friend from Melbourne and I had a delicious meal at Felons Restaurant. I ate veal and Deb had scotch fillet with a special flavoured butter our meat was amazing flavour, tenderness, juicy, incredible. We had Bream Creek 2012 Cabernet Merlot which was lovely and smooth. A fire burning, friendly staff,... More

Mindful of our impending boat trip and the less than perfect weather conditions we just opted for a coffee here prior to our drop off at the start of the Three Capes Track. The coffee was excellent and the housemade cakes looked delicious....but I tend to get seasick so, sadly, opted out. Walking companions were very positive in their recommendations... More

We booked a meal at Felons as part of the Ghost Tour of the Port Arthur Historical Site. What a Bonus to the Ghost Tour. The meal was fantastic, and fantastic value! Our group of six had, between us, the lamb, the venison, the steak (Scotch and eye fillet) all superb, and cooked exactly to order. The accompaniments were more... More
