Stopped at this coffee place a couple of times recently and both times the service ,the coffee and the carrot cake were all excellent.

Ordered coffee and a sandwich. Had finished the coffee but no sign of the sandwich. No excuse when cafe wasn't busy. No eftpos - reason was because they were in the country !

As a local of New Norfolk I love the quality of the coffee that this cafe produces. I must admit I have only ever had coffee from here and never tried any of their food as it does not appeal to me. When I say the food does not appeal to me I mean that by I buy coffee to... More

I'm a bit of a coffee snob, so when I saw the sign saying "we roast our coffee on the premises" I thought I'd this café has got to be worth a try. It wasn't! The coffee was so weak it was laughable. My advice to the owners is forget roasting your own coffee beans, just take a course in... More

We were looking for something quick and tasty. Shot cafe in Main St was perfect. Simple toasted sandwiches, pre-made Mediterranean roll which could be toasted and lovely cold milkshakes. Nothing special. Older style but suited us on this occasion.

Stopped for breakfast. Quick service, eggs just as you ordered, great milkshake and tea. Nice atmosphere, there is an area that is child free. Would visit again

After travelling around Tassie for two weeks and trying all sorts of things called coffee, it was an absolute pleasure to drink coffee from here. If I'm unsure about the coffee I normally ask for a double shot so I don't end up with milky bland coffee. I didn't at this cafe because the owner seemed serious about his coffee.... More

The guy who runs this place is really passionate about coffee. He roasts his own on premises and I even got a "coffee tour" where he showed me the green beans and explained the whole process. I have to say it was a great cup of coffee (long black). I also had poached eggs on toast with a side of... More

If you like coffee that actually tastes of coffee, Shot Cafe has the best coffee between New Norfolk and Hobart. It gets my number one coffee rating (Purple Cup drive-through in Hobart gets my number 2) THe food is simple but good (the Panini are great) The premises are clean and tidy and right in the middle of town.
