We have been staying at the Lufra Hotel so have been eating in the restaurant most evenings. The variety of items on the menu is very good and everything we've ordered so far has been delicious (lamb shank, chicken schnitzel, wallaby, apple and apricot crumble)....More

Ate in the restaurant only, didn't stay here. Food was ok, could have had more choice of food and drinks/beers. Service was a bit slow and the place was quite quiet when we were there. Not many places in the area to eat so by...More

We were here for a two night stay and quite prepared to eat at the restaurant both nights, but once was enough. One would think switching steamed vegetables for roast vegetables (roast vegetables are on the menu separately) wouldn’t be a problem. We were told...More

I am sorry to hear about your experience. Not so sure about steamed and then fried - that is not roast vegetables and not how we do them.

This is quite a good restaurant.I had the seafood platter which was more than enough for one person. It was nicely presented with a variety of seafood.Perhaps if I could be a little critical I perhaps would have prefered a little less of deep fried food.The...More

Different spin on the trusty old seafood platter, restaurant is a little more than just a cafe so the food isn’t $15 hamburger meals. It’s more gourmet. The platter was amazing, and tasted delicious. They have some very nice food here, but we couldn’t eat...More

Two nights evening meals. Both exceptional. Seafood then the mouth watering tender steak, fresh crunchy vegetables. The deserts, how can you resist and all meals very reasonably priced. Delicious.

Lufra provides meals with a combination of full restaurant service in the evening and day time casual cafe providing hot and cold beverages, light snacks and substantial lunches throughout the day. Continental breakfasts are available in the restaurant every morning. Drop by for your morning paper and coffee at our 'Whale Watchers Cafe', yes whales can be seen from our dining areas when they visit Pirates Bay. There is always a variety of meals and refreshments on offer. In the evening join us in 'The Pavement Restaurant' named after the famous geological formation 'Tessellated Pavement' situated on the foreshore below the Hotel. The menu consists of a full range of dishes crafted with quality ingredients with local seafood, meats and produce at the centre. Children are catered for with a special menu just for them.
