They obviously care about the food and coffee here. Deliciously creamy cheesecakes and people who understand what a macchiato should be.

Dissapointing as this focal point of Cygnet supported by the locals is now only open Monday to Friday 9 - 4. No evenings. No week ends. Had such a great reputation it is sad to see it always closed.

We stayed in nearby Lymington for a couple of nights and visited Lotus Eaters twice. Once for a lunch and the other time for a breakfast. The service was very friendly, the coffee good and the meals were very tasty. The outdoor area is a nice place to sit and chat. Very relaxed atmosphere and well worth the visit.

LMFAO at the vegans review of disappointment. You obviously havent had their pear and walnut salads or yummy homemade soups. Vegans are a impossible breed hard to please bang on how bad meat is then go and stuff themselves with tofu which is 95% genetically modified by monsanto and full of estrogen to increase breast cancer. Lotus Eaters couldnt more... More

A quaint and quirky establishment! Gorgeous vintage outdoor settings surrounded by herb gardens, which are used fresh in the kitchen. Ordered the dairy chai- expecting the usual chai latte experience, what came to the table was something unexpected! Home brewed chai, blended with milk in a teapot with local honey on the side. With such attention to detail we stayed... More

Consistently fabulous! Best coffee and chai south of Hobart. Delicious, fresh and beautifully presented food. Great venue for a day trip lunch - book a table though it's very popular.

Just as the subject line says. It seems to open whenever it feels like it, in other words "infrequently". It's really hard to know when they will be open. It was very difficult to find a seat inside. There's plenty of seats outside, but in winter, that's not such a good option. I remember the option we found was OK... More

We stopped in on a wet winters day. The food was fresh, tasty and efficient. My fiancé commented that it was his best coffee in Tassie so far. Highly recommend this little cosy cafe.
