While i do not mind spending good money on good food, i hate being ripped off!! And this place certainly did. $35 for a sausage roll and a BLT with an egg and a tea was ridiculous. My BLT was pathetic, no love poured into this one, eggs ..... how do you manage to have a solid yolk and slimey... More

We had lunch at Petalura today & ordered the steak sandwich & pulled brisket burger - FANTASTIC! The quality of food here is hard to find elsewhere in the region & I recommend it without hesitation.. The coffee is beautiful, the owner Vanessa has worked on the blend of coffee to add more chocolate & remove the bitterness so it... More

Very tasty food, good service highly recommended. I had the potatoes and leaks soup and wife chips with sour cream and we ate it all. Get here before 2 to get the best selection

On the weekday we went there the only other places that was open was a small cafe two doors down and a convenient store on the highway selling packaged sushi, so this made it an obvious choice. The service was quick and efficient and the food orders came out quickly for our group. The lunch menu was limited with 7... More

Lovely lunch on Sunday. Handmade Pies, Danish Meatballs and Zucchini Fritters were all excellent. Atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. Quality gift shop. Definitely one to recommend and not in the centre of the tourist strip.

The food is superb, even heard the guy next to me tell the waitstaff that was "the best meal I had in ages", and I'd have to agree; the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant and buzzing. Overall a great place to frequent.

Chose this place due to the number of people patronising it, and only realised later that it was due to fact that it was one only two places open in the village, not the quality of the food. Anyhow paid $30.00 for two ham and cheese rolls, which at that price you would think you are getting something special. Quite... More

Dear CollieandAl, Thank you, we sure hope that ham and cheese roll incident didn’t have you seething all the way back to Sydney? Anyhow, may I remind you that in order for you to get a seat in our popular eatery you had to sit at a Reserved table because the rest of the café was packed to the rim... More

We went there for lunch on our way to the caves. We had the chicken pie, danish meatballs and zucchini waffle stack. All were excellent.

Just a bit of advice: that little pot of jam does not begin to cover 2 scones cut in half, there was plenty of cream, just whack a bit more jam out there for your buck and I for one will be happier by a looooong shot.

Dear kim g, Thank you so much for your feedback. The subject of quantity is always tricky - what is too much or enough for one, is sometimes not enough for another. That being said, we have found that 90% of our customers feel the pot of jam is enough for them, the other 10% usually ask us for more,... More
